Yesterday me and the girls went to Brussels! I feel blessed to be living in a city that is on the boarder to two other countries, and that is equally just as cheap to travel to. Coming from the UK it is expensive to go another country for the weekend let alone for a day!

With it's beautiful scenery and architecture we had to take plenty of photos, but these are some of what had taken. The day consisted of an early coach trip from Maastricht to Brussels, Beer, Chocolate museum, traditional mussels (from a 12.50€ set menu) and more Beer.

When you travel with great people and an open mind, I don't think your day can get any better! My love for travelling has defiantly been enchanted with such beautiful cities and beautiful people!

So I am back home for a couple of days, and I must say the weather has definantly been on my side. As you can probably guess the season around this time of the year is ... AUTUMN... and it looks stunning. Apparently yesterday the reason the sky was so red was due to Murcury going past the sun or through our orbit, I don't know really. All I know is that it looked gorgeous.

So I’m currently waiting at Brussels Airport for my flight home.

Yesterday marked week 6 of my masters course already! Can’t believe how fast it has gone.

As per usual me and the girls wanted to do something, but with all the cafes closing at 6pm we didn’t really have much of an option until someone suggested we check out ‘Zuid’ cafe. Which surprise surprise didn’t disappoint! From a river right next to it to the coffee and wine they served, not to mentioned the Tapas that we shared!

Here's to the weekend!
