So its always a good day for a friday. FriYAY or FRInally. Whatever you might wanna call it. There is always something about that friday feeling. Especially nowadays when I am working monday to friday, and at 1:30pm on the fifth day of the week get to DJ through that last half hour at work. Roxette and ABBA are usually the ones that get me into that friday spirit. After a full day of baking, making and cleaning at work we said good bye for now and I biked to my "new" gym to sign up for another membership. Excited about all the classes that they offer. Pilates, yoga, barre, RPM etc etc. It will be a another few good months there! I biked home in nearly 90% humidity and I am not gonna lie, it is killing me! I have no problem what so ever with heat, as long as its dry heat. Not this type, where you can squeeze water out of the air. Well almost at least.
7pm me and Louise had a table booked at one of our favourite restaurants Elixiba. And HOW I LOVE THAT PLACE! Walked (or actually ran, as I as per usual were a little bit, fashionably late hehe). I also came running into the restaurant with an orange, which had a smily face painted on the skin, just to make my entering even a little bit more exciting for everyone to watch. ;)
Vegan burgers and fresh coconuts for the win! Mine is called the "Man-eater" and it seems to be a bit unusual that a girl can eat all of that by herself, as everyone seem a bit surprised every time, but it is just so YUM! And how lovely are the signs!? Elixiba truly has some of the most fabulous staff members and they always make you leave the restaurant, satisfied and truly happy. I guess thats all we could possibly ask for. Perfection :) This is when I understand how a small simple act of kindness can make such a huge difference in the world. It inspires me to give back to everyone around me. To spread some love. It really is just as simple as that.
I fell asleep happy and full of inspiration, knowing I was about to leave an amazing day full of content and approach another one, saturyay was going to be such a stunner as well. But that will be the story of tomorrow, as I am heading to bed already. Early market-morning with the girls is the new sunday tradition. What a fabulous life we all have created here. Blessed is not even word enought to BEGIN to describe it. Oh well. Time for some beauty sleep.
