From left: Jonas (Kasper's twin brother), Kasper and the photographer arriving at the church

Wedding game: Mr. & Mrs. Shoe game (my idea actually)

Main course: beef tournedo with truffle sauce, grilled potato, spring onion and herbs

After the marriage ceremony: Throw rice (lots of it) at the newly married couple

Dessert: panacotta, sorbet, almond cake topped with cranberries and nuts

Hi loves! Last week my sister and my now brother-in-law Kasper, got married!! This was a very special day for them and for me as well. It's not every day your sister gets married.

The day started at my sisters apartment where me and the bridesmaids slept the night before the big day. We prepared ourselves and at 2.30pm our ride arrived. A freaking cool Rolls Royce from the 30s waited for us. It was the first time I ever tried to be in such an old car and I must say it was quite fun! Random people and drivers waved, smiled and honked at us.

When we arrived at the church at around 3pm the nervousness and excitement became bigger. I could feel that especially from my sister. She was about to say yes to the man that she would spend the rest of her life with. A whole new chapter in her life. I must say I got a bit emotional, even the other bridesmaids. I was the first one to walk down the aisle with the others behind me. It was a bit deja vu for me, since it was the same local church I got confirmated in. Same church and same pastor hehe.

Food time: Sorry baby I know you had food in your mouth while this pic was taken haha

After the ceremony we all went to the wedding reception. It was held in the old town Dragør at Restaurant Beghuset. We took some pictures and drank some wine, before Michelle and Kasper would arrive after their photoshoot.

Philip my ldr boyfriend came the day before the wedding. I was really happy that he could come and celebrate this day with my family. He even got to experience his first Danish wedding. The Danish culture is a bit different from the Italian, so it was fun for him to see our traditions here. Maybe we will do some of the same things at our wedding, one day haha. Well I actually caught the bouquet which I wanted to sooo... baby if you read this, you better go down on your knees soon and propose! Just kidding. Can't wait till it will be me, I can imagine how great it must feel. To get married to the love of your life.

Anyway these were just a few of the hundreds of pictures I have. That's why I'll make a part 2 with pictures from the Photographer. So stay tuned for more!!

Much love,

XX M

Hi loves! I'm finally back on the blog. It's been a while, since my sister just got married this weekend! It's was an unforgettable day filled with excitement, emotional feelings and most of all, love. Anyway stay tuned for my next blog post where you can read more about it.

Two weeks ago I won the t-shirt above from Munthe, through the danish blogger @mariakragmann instagram. Isn't it pretty cool? The quality of the garment is really on top. It's so soft and comfy, which I love! Plus when you buy the t-shirt you donate 100 kr. to charity. How great is that? You can find the t-shirt here.

I'm just really lucky these days and I have no idea why. Just the week before I won this t-shirt, I won a bike from SCO cykler via Copenhagen Fashion Week. It's just not assembled yet, which is why I can't show you guys. But maybe you'll see it in a future photoshoot, who knows?

Not to brag or anything but I have won 5 times in competitions this year. I was never lucky before, so it's like my luck has changed. It's kinda crazy... my friends think I cheat or something since I keep having luck haha.

Have you guys won anything this year?

Hi loves! Somehow I deleted my latest blog post by an accident :( and I can't get it back... It's so annoying when you have spended time on writing and then it's gone in 2 secs. Is there a possible way to get it back?

Jacket Zara // Shirt second hand // Pants second hand //Shoes Vans Old Skool // Bag Saint Laurent

Hi loves! A picture from today. I was wearing a shirt with short sleeves and then flare pants with a side slit at the end, both bought from a second hand market in my town. So cheap and never used! I especially love the pants since my bootaaayyy looks better in those haha. Anyway just a casual outfit that is wearable for a chill Sunday.

I hope you guys enjoyed the weekend!

Hi loves! As many of you might know Copenhagen Fashion week has started. This Tuesday Nanna and I attended to Zalando's Fashion show. Some of you might have seen my stories on instagram @melissadepol (I apologize for my spam haha).

How lucky were Nanna and I that we won tickets to the show, just the day before?! Unfortunately Nanna had work so I needed to wait for her until she finished. But luckily she was there just before the show started. The event was hosted at Papirhallen and started at 3pm. After waiting in line to come inside, we received goodiebags, snacks and drinks and then found a good place to sit. The whole hall were full of models, designers, stylists and photographers. First of a bunch of interview, focusing on Scandinavian style with Malene Malling and personal branding with Mie Juel (Style Director at ELLE Denmark) and Mads Emil Grove.

My favorite part was the last thing on the program. The fashion show. The collections from Helliot Emil and Mai Svanhvit were insane! I could definitely see myself wearing one of the dresses by Mai Svanhvit. Simple and elegant at the same time. Actually it was my first time to join the Fashion week. I must say it really inspires me, since I'm dreaming of becoming a fashion stylist in the future. I will definitely come to the next Copenhagen fashion week.

How was your fashion week?

Look at Nanna's new shiny boots, aren't they freaking cool?! I love them - find them here and remember to follow her blog on http://perfect-imperfections.dk.

Hi loves! Yesterday Nanna and I went to the city. In fact she was going to buy the Gucci Marmont belt bag that she has been looking at for a long time. We went inside the Gucci store at the walking street, and there it was. A mannequin at the window shop where the bag was hanging. Surprisingly Nanna bought the last bag in red, which was the color she was going for. Lucky her! I can tell she is a happy girl now.

But guess who bought a new bag too? Me! A cute little Yves Saint Laurent bag in white. Usually I'm not the type who buy expensive designer bags, but I couldn't help it when I saw it. Guess it was love at first sight because I bought the exact same day, Nanna showed me it. I bought it from a woman who were selling it almost new, without any kind of dirt or scratches. Luckily I ended up paying 300 kr. less and in total I bought for 3500 kr. which is so cheap for an YSL!

What do you guys think of my new bag?

Hi loves! So finally after months of not seeing each other, my boyfriend from Milan came to Copenhagen to visit me for my birthday. He was only here for 4 days and he left in the early morning, yesterday. Since he is traveling to the Philippines with his family today. Busy boy hehe.

These photos were taken by my dearly friend Nanna. I'm happy that she had time to take these pics even though she was pretty busy.

Anyway the few days we spend together were amazing. We went around different places in the city that I planned. But we didn't go everywhere I wanted to, but it's ok. We had some quality time together and that is what's important. I love showing him around, especially places where he haven't been before. I feel like a tourist in my own city when I'm with him hehe.

He loves Denmark and the food. And I always see him go crazy for all of the bikes we have here. Too cute when he makes the "excitement-wow-face."

I'm so lucky that I will see my boy again in a month for my sisters wedding, can't wait!

Hi loves! Since I've got a lot of questions about my long distance relationship, I thought I would do a post about it. And why not introduce you to my boyfriend, Philip. He is actually coming to Denmark next week to celebrate my bday, which I'm so excited about! I haven't seen him since the start of April, which makes it over 3 months :( but yeah, I guess we are used to it... I wrote some questions that I usually get asked about so here you go:

How did we meet? During my Christmas vacation in 2014 I was in Milan with my cousin. I met Philip for the first time when I was out ice skating with my two cousins in Porta Venezia. One of my cousins who lives in Milan, already knew Philip and his friends. So when we suddenly bumped into them, we all decided to hangout together on the ice rink. At first Philip and I didn't really talk, since he was too shy to talk and say hi to me (he told me that later on haha). After we came home from ice skating a notification popped-up on my fb and I saw it was a friend request from him. I accepted it and soon a text came to my inbox saying ''Hey, nice to meet you...''

How long have you been together? 2 years and 4 months (almost).

How did you become a couple? After I left Milan the first time after we met, we continued to communicate through messenger and other social media. We took it slowly, but we soon realized we had a crush on each other and couldn't hide it. Taking it to the next step it became a routine for us to face-time. I was lucky that in my case I was going back to Italy 3 months after our first meeting. I had a trip with my class to Florence. So after my class went back to Copenhagen I decided to stay in Milan at my family's place. We finally met after a long time, I clearly remember the excitement I felt. This time was going to be so different from our last meeting. March 29, 2015 was the day our relationship started. Philip took me to Cairoli in the late evening, he found the perfect spot to sit and took his jacket off and laid it on the grass. We sat there looking at stars while cuddling and holding hands. He began to look me in the eyes and then we kissed. This is when he asked me ''will you be my gf?'' and responded with a smile on my face ''yes, of course...''

Since you are in a ldr how can you trust each other? And do you often discuss about those things? Trust doesn't come fast, it can take years to build. In fact you got to know the person you are in a relationship with, very well first. To be honest it wasn't easy for us to trust each other in the start of our ldr relationship. None of us could be 100% sure if the other one were flirting or even cheating behind our back. All I knew back then is I had to trust him, because how else should we survive a long distance?

We always discussed when we saw something suspicious on each others social media. In comments, texts or just a picture with a friend of the opposite sex. I often ended up overthinking and didn't wanted to tell Philip that I felt bad. Especially when he was hanging out with his female friends. Simply because I didn't wanted to make him feel in a cage. But both of us have learned that telling each other how we feel is important. A tip is to know each others limit, and try not to cross it. Trust is even about knowing how much they mean to you, enough to know that they won't break your heart. If they break your heart, they clearly didn't love you enough (in my opinion). My trust is also based on knowing his heart. I know how much he sacrificed for me and that makes me trust him.

Do you feel ignored when the other one doesn't reply quickly? Yes I do, if I know he is in company with friends I do feel ignored. Like he is too busy to give me a quick reply back. Sometimes I try to understand a part of his life, is without me. Since I can't always be around him. I wouldn't say I'm an attention seeker, but getting attention from your partner should be a routine.

How can you deal with the fact that you can't watch him when he hangs out with friends? Philip and I always tell each other our plans for the next day. Where we are going and who we are going out with. This helps me a lot accept and deal with it. I trust him enough to know that he won't do something stupid. Even when I'm not there. We both met each others closest friends and I know none of them have any interest in him. We just have to respect that we both have our own friends and mostly we live two completely different lives.

What nationality are you both? Philip is full Filipino, but born and raised in Italy. I'm half Danish and half Filipino with a Spanish decent and born in Denmark.

What language do you speak together? English. Since I can't speak fluent Tagalog (Filipino language) or Italian haha.

Do you live in different time zones? Luckily we live in the same time zones, so we don't have any problems with calling each other on inappropriate times.

What are the keys to make a LDR work? Communication, trust, patience, appreciation, respect and effort

Hi loves! My first outfit pictures for my blog ever. I'm quite excited for how they turned out, considering the windy weather in Copenhagen. My cute silky dress is from asos and my flower embroidered heeled mules as well.
