Moving from the East coast to the West coast was one of the best decisions I've ever made. The reason I say that is because I have come to the realization that I really do not like the snow, I function well when I'm not too cold LOL. The problem with New York is that it becomes too cold in the winter and it also becomes too hot and humid in the summer, no grey area... I still have the sunburn to prove it, I wasn't sunbathing, I just stepped outside for a couple of minutes then BAM!!!! black girl became charcoal. The other funny thing about summer in NY is that while outside it's super hot, indoors the air conditioning is on full blast. Winter in the house and summer outside. The struggle is real.
California, on the other hand, is super perfect LOL. While the East is have a blizzard towards the end of winter, we are having SUMMER, you would swear that it is two different countries. IT. IS. CRAZY. That's what it is. My friends in the East keep sending me pictures of the snow and them feeling all depressed... on the other hand, I'm sending them pictures of me in my bathing suit. How do you like that LOL. I am a happy chappy.
