Finally Christmas is here! It's me favourite time of the year - NOTHING beats this season (in my opinion). I'm - and don't judge me for this - the type of person who gets into their christmas-spirit right after Halloween and I havn't held back at all. As I'm done decorating the house, I've spent the day creating a holiday makeup look. I went for a halo-eye. I've used four different colours, two brushes, and it's pretty easy.
Step 1: Prime your eyes! It's important if you want the look to last all day.
Step 2: Take a neutral colour and apply it all over your lid with a fluffy eyeshadow brush (I used Zoeva 227). This will set the primer and make it easier for you to blend your colours.
Step 3: Take a light colour (I used a light pink) and apply that on the inner and outer corners with a semi fluffy brush (I used Zoeva 231). It's important that you don't apply shadow in the middle of the eyelid, or else you will not be able to obtain the halo effect.
Step 4: Repeat step 3, but with a darker colour and use the same brush. When this is done, slightly connect the two corners in the crease.
Step 5: Use a glittery shadow and apply it in the middle of the lid. Blend it with the semi fluffy brush with no ekstra shadow on it.
Step 6: The last step is to apply shadow on the lower waterline, I use the shadows from step 2, 3 and 4. Apply mascara and eyeliner and you are done.
That's it - six simple steps to a beautiful eye makeup. If you want to make it a bit more dramatic, you can do a winged liner or put on some falsies - even both.
Until next time!
