Last day of the quick trip to the South of France! We decided to go visit Antibes, closer towards the airport and a more relaxed, provence styled vibe. The town is beautiful, traditional and much more relaxed than other cities in the area. Highly recommend to go walking around the old town and the bay area! Au revoir France and next stop Portugal!

When in Cannes... definitly go to visit Ile St Marguerite! With the ferry from the old port it only takes 20 minutes to get to the biggest of the Iles Lerins, and you'll find a mix of riviera aura, birds chirping and the strong scent of eucalyptus! The island is fairly big and a lot of space to walk in the big (but hot!) forest. Perfect place to find a secluded little beach and enjo the ocean from their! For lunch on this day we went to one of the two restaurants, where we could also enjoy live music as well. All in all, a really great place for a day trip to get away from the hot city center! Baoli was on the second full day, a great place to enjoy music, sun and great food!

To celebrate the end of exams my friend and I decided to go for a quick, spontaneous trip to the beautiful Cote D'Azur. On our first day, we walked through the many little busy streets of the city, went up to the fort, which has a spectacular view and walked along la Croisette. For lunch, we went to this great Bistro in a smaller street aside from the main road rue d'antibes. I would always recommend going for the plat du jour in any French restaurant, you can never go wrong with the fresh dish of the day!

Welcome to my first blog post! First year university exams are over, which means a two month break from the usual everyday student lifestyle, and therefore a much more calmer, spontaneous few weeks ahead. I will be traveling a lot this Summer which is why I have decided to create this blog. Being a business student, creativity is not in the foreground ever really, so I have decided for myself to find a creative outlet, where I can share what I discover through my travels. I will post mainly pictures, hoping to capture the cultural diversity, beautiful architectures and other unique moments I get to experience. Excited to see what this blog and the tips bring to whoever comes across it, and excited to have found a new platform to express myself on!
