Good day people!
My day has been really mellow and quite. I have been reading and cleaning.
I also went out for a coup of coffee with a friend. Life is good can't complain.
Good morning y'all.
Nothing really happened today. But you know when you're sad but with no explanation why, that's how my day has been. Maybe I'm just selfish and should stop with this nonsense. Or I just need to be sad every once in a while. Time will tell.
Good evening mes amies! The day has not been so eventful. We were at sea in Stockholm for a while. Spent the afternoon at with my aunt in her the apartment. Hopefully the rest of the summer will me more fun!
Eleanor and Park is defiantly not the typical high school romance. Eleanor is the new girl, the girl with the crazy red hair and the strange clothes. Park is the quiet Asian boy who does everything in his power to avoid bringing attention to himself: until Eleanor walks onto the school buss.
I feel in love with the book automatically. It really hooked me from the start. It's the most beautiful, heartwarming story I've ever read. I love how Rainbow Rowell wrote about abuse. It made the book more realistic. Also how poetic it was at times. Overall, the writing was really beautiful.
BUT THE ENDING THOUGH. I was crying for almost 20 minutes. Eleanor and Park broke up. They started to moving on. They did not end up going to prom together. Eleanor stared a new school. Which was really heartbreaking for me, because in my eyes they were perfect for each other. But I liked what Rainbow Rowell said. " But they're 17 years old. I don't believe that 17-year-olds get happy endings. They get beginnings"
They will find new love in the future. One much deeper and more meaningful. Or life gives them another shot, and they meet again.
For the past few years i´ve been a big fan of podcast´s. Hearing a calming voice in the backgrund while i walk around on earth. Listening to someone telling me a intimate privet story of a event that changed their life in some way, that creates a weird connection or just ganging wisdom for me. Granted i have not listend to many podcast´s in my very short span of life. However, here is my top 3 podcast´s.
Dear Hank and John is a comedy podcast, were the vlogbrothers Hank and Green and John Green answer questions, also give advise. The reason why i enjoy this podcast is partially because I really love many John Green´s. However i love the question section of every episode, which i can understand that for some people can seem boring. But every question is not serious .(although jokes about death are in almost every episode) Its eveything from how to corectly eat a Oreo´s, to dealing with divorces.
I could not talk about podcast´s and not mention strangers. It will always me one of my favorite´s.Each episode is an empathy shot in your arm, featuring true stories about about the people we meet, the connections we make, the heartbreaks we suffer, the kindnesses we encounter. The stories that are on the podcast always make me either cry, be horrified or have my jaw drop.
Criminal is a podcast about crime. Stories of people who've done wrong, been wronged, or gotten caught somewhere in the middle. Also shows a side of the criminal justice some of us dont see.
Good morning people
Today did not start that well. First a family fight, then it started raining. It's like the Gods don't want be to have a good day.
All I want to do right now is to be home in my bed, with a good book drinking tea. But first school.
