So, everyone is telling us how great their year was and mine was too of course. But I also had a tough year filled with big decisions and feelings of just not having enough time. I quit my job as a team leader @ Superdry to grab the chance to work with a growing company that just opened a web shop. I got an offer I could´t refuse and I see exiting things for the future. My philosophy is simple: do what you love and love what you do. Say yes more than you say no and spend time with the people that matter.

So, staying true to my bargain hunting mode that kind of comes with the season... I did some finds at the makeup counter at Kicks and some other stores this weekend. The whole point is I love luxurious feeling and looking makeup. I sometimes just buy things like this to have something extra special to pull out from my bag on a night out with the girls. These little guys get the most attention when flashed over a glas of vine. Great bargains on 30%- 50% right now. Go and get your own favourites and tell me all about it!

Salesperson is here and we are not quite ready for spring yet. But flowers are always in style and especially this upcoming season. I love to combine a floral sweet pattern with a more edgy vinyl legging. My favourite boot from Chloe and bag from Gucci.

I'm almost halfway through my life... at least I hope I have 40+ years to go. One thing I already regret not doing is dressing up more and wearing tighter clothes that show more skin. I try to stay fit but somehow the toned muscles I had in my twenties seem to have been replaced with "jiggly" stuff? I have changed my wardrobe plenty through the years and soon I'll let you see how I build up my own wardrobe to fit my body shape, my wallet and my personal style. For now you'll just have to make do with a perfect picture of a perfect girl who is every bit as sassy as I was at her age. Picture is taken from an IG shoot for www.missay.se with lovely Elin Brynzér.

Let me be the first to adress the question mark in the header here... why is it there? Shouldn't it be plain obvious that we do... love curves I mean. I made a promise to myself many years ago that I wouldn't buy into the false images fashion constantly feeds us with but after 27 long years in the industry I fell into the same trap as everyone else. I try to look my best and I help others do the same through my work as a stylist. Somehow it hits me again and again that fashion isn't relatable for everyone. We have a huge underrepresentation of dark skinned, dark haired, curvy and older girls and women. I have a very hard time identifying myself with what is shown to me in ads and magazines. I love blogs and "normal" people but everywhere I look now days people distort themselves in order to fit the type or maybe to fit in? I don't know what's right for you, but to me everyone has beauty in them. To me we are all perfectly imperfect and the most important muscle we should be mindful of keeping toned is our heart. The picture is a "behind the scenes" from a IG shoot we did for @missay.se with beautiful Sandra. Who is one of the kindest women I know, who looked really good in our styles.

The absolute best year in my life is coming to an end... sad but still I believe the best is yet to come. This year I married the love of my life, the perfect man for me and we got to celebrate our love with tons of dear and special friends and family. I know I blog about fashion and superficial things as trends and styling but underneath all our exterior is a warm and beating heart. When you strip us down what do we have left? We are what we do not what we say in my opinion, and the relationships we build is a testament to our core being. That same core being needs an outlet and mine is fashion and caring for others. This year we gave tons and tons of clothes away to those who need it the most, I started mentoring some young people around me and tried to help in every way I possibly could. I try to be there and listen to myself and others and do my very best to be a good person. For what are we going to do with all this future? If we don't have each other? Thank you 2017, let's go 2018!

I am quite simple when it comes to fashion, my style follows trends and I look at my own body shape, colors I love that I know suits me, style icons and what ever is hot on the runway at top brands that I can be inspired by before going out in stores. I invest in outerwear, great shoes and handbags but other than that I like inexpensive clothes. My outfit's rarely cost more than 100 Euro but no one could ever guess that since I always look classy and chic. I try to buy full outfits that go well with the other stuff I have in my closet and I donate clothes that have passed their peak on a regular basis. This season I've bought tons of light pink, grey, bordeaux and animal prints to mix in with my blacks and whites. I love the absence of color so black and white is always my safe zone, but I like to mix in what ever is on for the season and in the winter I tend to fall for softer colors. What do you have in your closet? What is your favourite item this season? Mine has been the faux fur and popper pants that I got at a bargain price at my favourite store Missay.se. Check it out HERE

Perfume is like makeup or hair, it puts the final touch to your outfit and ties the look together. What perfume people wear can actually make or brake their look. I know, I'm putting myself out there by saying this but that's just what I believe. Coco Chanel was even harsher when she stated "A woman who doesn't wear perfume has no future". Maybe she was kidding but still the power of our senses is kind of magical. I have to fall in love with a scent in order to buy it. I don't have a signature perfume, I like to mix it up depending on occasion and mood. This little gem from Casa Morati fell into my lap this Christmas and it was carefully selected by my husband who apparently told the lady at the perfume counter at NK that his wife is a fashionstylist with tons of personality, long dark hair and the biggest heart. Of course i fell in love, which girl wouldn't?

There is absolutely no shame in making your hard earned money last a bit longer, that's why I absolutely love a great bargain. As a personal shopper I often work with clients on a budget and for great friends like Michaela Janerfelt here I found her dreamshoes for 50% off just randomly strolling around town. Sale season is the best season, often stores reduce more unique pieces that isn't for everyone but might be just right for you. To me shopping on sale is a sport and I will tell you all my tips and tricks later, I promise. Right now I'm going to hit the stores and see what I can find.

Before everything gets crazy with family, gifts, relatives and tons of kids it's perfect to just have a quiet cup of coffee on the balcony. Don't you agree? Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas. Evelina Brynzér is wearing our beautiful red faux fur and our dressed up pants. T-shirt from Co' Couture.

I've always had my own personal style, long before it was trendy. I think clothes should be an expression of who you are and of what you feel inside. I don't think you necessarily need to follow all the rules regarding fashion and styling when you dress... however you need to think about what you truly feel good in and what your fashion philosophy is. I dress myself in colors and fabrics I love. I dress according to my body shape in cuts that flatter me. I wear classic looks, rock chic looks, boho looks, glam looks and what ever fits my mood for the day. I mix and match sweet and salty with edgy or safe. Mostly I wear inexpensive clothes styled to look glam and expensive. I like to be well put together as do many others but I don't like to pay too much. This whole outfit costs less that 100 Euro and you can find it at www.missy.se. The shoes are from Zara and I've had them for ages.

My life since I started to work for the worlds greatest company www.missay.se has entailed working with not only beautiful clothes but tons and tons of beautiful girls. This blonde babe is called Caroline Stenros and I did a shoot for our Instagram missay.se and website just the other day, pictures will come up shortly so keep checking our social media feed. Caroline is a true glamgirl and lives down in Marbella where she works as a makeupartist and hairstylist for the stars. So for the shoot with her I styled her in a rock chic ensemble through and through. She fell in love with our clothes and I fell in love with her... and what makes the world go round? L O V E.

Ok, so invitations start pouring in and here in Gothenburg there is a huge yearly soaré called Winter Experience by Port du Soleil @Clarion Hotel Post. Of course everyone is going to be there and of course everyone will make that extra effort. But as always there is the big question of what to wear? This year I think I'll go in one of our "Star" dresses from www.missy.se. It really has everything a girl could want to shine no matter her age. Let's see if I don't change my mind?

Anyway, I think the perfect night out needs a perfect dress, so maybe I'll see you on the dance floor and we can be stars together? xxx

IG STYLING, IMAGEMAKING, MISSAY.SE, PERSONAL SHOPPING

Remember when Carrie in Sex and the City said she liked her money right where she could see it? Hanging in her closet... Well I know how she feels. I love fashion, I love top brands with exquisite craftsmanship and I love fast fashion that allows me and my wallet to follow trends without having to eat noodles for a month. I also love personal style and expressing myself without having to open my mouth. This outfit is a personal favourite. You can find the faux fur in a million different shapes and sizes right now as it is on trend. Mine is from www.missay.se and I only gave 1199kr for it. The jeans I´ve had for years and they are from Maison Scotch. The blouse is from the same brand as the coat. The bag is a gift from my husband that I got when we got married and I will love it and wear it ten years from now as it will always be in style with lots of sentimental value.

So all and all you can see my philosophy and professional opinion on fashion statement in this one picture: buy stuff you love and spend money on the things that last. Right now I'm saving up for a Chanel... it's now my second year of saving. I'll keep you posted on how it goes.
