There's nothing better in the summer than Swedish strawberries with vanilla ice cream, and now I even had some homemade caramel sauce laying around!

Anyways, it's finally weekend and I get to rest a bit from work and I plan on spending this evening by playing the sims 4 and watching movies.

Here you have 3 Korean drama tips if you ever find yourself wanting to watch one. These ones are a few of my absolute favorite dramas, but if I have to pick just one as m favorite I would have to pick 'Weightlifting fairy Kim Bok-Joo'. That drama is just so cute and fluffy and main guy is just boyfriend goals in every possible way. 'Goblin' is also a really good drama, it's a bit sad so be prepared to let out a tear or two. It isn't bad either that main guy in this drama is one of my favorite actors, Gong yoo. And last but not least 'It's okay, it's love'. It is a really good drama and main girl Gong Hyojin is one of my favorite actresses and I really like almost all of the dramas she has starred in.

If you ever find yourself bored or curious to try something new then I highly suggest you try korean dramas. They are a bit different from what we are used to here in the west, but they can be really good and you don't have to put in a lot of commitment since most of them are only 16-20 episodes long.

Hi everyone!

I hope you all had a nice and warm weekend, I had a really nice one actually. My bestie came and visited me over the weekend and it was needed, I've been feeling down these last two weeks so it was nice to relax and have some fun with one of my favorite people ❤️. We didn't actually do much at all, but I guess if I had to describe it with one sentence it would be 'crazy photo filters and a lot of laughter' hahah. Thank you for coming, Linnea!

Sadly she went home today, but I'm sure we will get to hang out again soon enough!

These pictures are just a few of many memories from when I lived in South Korea, Seoul for a year and there isn't a day where I don't miss it and want to go back.

.... But! I have good news for you (or mainly good news for myself hehe)! Yesterday me and my friend Malin (my dearest most amazing roommate while we lived in Korea) booked tickets for a trip there in august. I am beyond excited and this trip couldn't have come at a better time than this, since I've been feeling quite down and unhappy these past few weeks. Or actually since I came home to Sweden from Korea last autumn, but it's gotten worse this past month. I can't even describe how relieved I feel to finally be going back (even if it's just for two weeks), and it's going to be so much fun! We haven't really planned what we are going to do while we're there but we're definitely going to our hood Hoegi where we lived. And if everything goes as we planned from the beginning my friend Rebecca will join us as well, I really REALLY hope she will be able to but right now it's a bit uncertain because of various reasons...

But anyway, I'm really looking forward to this trip and I will ofc take a shitload of pictures and blog about it! I'm also going to try and film a little and make some vlogs as well~

So, this morning didn't start the way I thought it would. I got up at 6 to get ready for work, but when I was on my bike on my way to work I just started to feel really weird so I had to turn around and go back home and rest.

Since I felt sorry for myself I prepared a lil breakfast that I had in bed while watching a Korean drama called 'Suspicious partner'. The drama itself isn't amazing or the best thing I've ever watched, but I like it and I can't complain about looking at the male lead Ji Chang Wook, that man is beautiful 👌🏻.

Oh well I shall continue with my lazy day at home by playing The Sims 4. I bought the new game pack yesterday so right now I'm building a house in which I will move in my new family!

*Pretending to be deep in thought at Han River in Seoul, "not noticing" that my friend is taking a picture of me*

.... Aaaaaaaaand with that picture I commence the first blog post on this blog haha. Am I not the funniest person?? no...? Okay...

Okay but jokes aside, welcome to my blog!
My name is Agnes, I'm 23 years old (I almost wrote 13 for some reason?? I guess it's my mental age then haha) and I live in the cold and miserable northern part of Sweden. My biggest interests in life is basically just stuff that originates from South Korea, a.k.a K-pop (my favorite group is Vixx, you are going to know that soon enough wether you want to or not ✌), Korean tv-shows and a lot of other stuff. Other things I like is Deadpool, computer games, baking (occasionally), hanging out with friends and also to angst and over-analyze everything.

So what's up with this Korea obsession you might ask? (You probably didn't ask that at all but I like to talk about Korea every chance I get so I will tell you anyway).
Well, I'm glad that you asked! It all started in 2011 when I randomly found a korean song on a blog, and I thought 'hey, why not listen to it?? This could be interesting'. I did listen to it and I absolutely hated it, but for some weird reason (maybe it was fate?? *gasps*) I still replayed that song over and over and before I knew it I had become a K-pop fan. So with liking k-pop also came the growing interest of wanting to know more about Korea, and not only the height and favorite color of my favorite member in a boy group. I started learning more about the country and it's culture, and soon enough I started watching Korean tv-shows and movies as well. In the spring of 2013, my whole life changed (wow dramatic much?) when I broke up with my boyfriend, which made me sad for about 4 days until I found the blessing that is Vixx. Ever since then my absolute favorite group has been Vixx, even to this day. My favorite member is Leo (it's important to know, you should probably write that down). Anyway, all this interest in Korea also eventually made me want to learn Korean 'cause how cool wouldn't that be? So then I applied for a language course in 2015, got in, and then I moved to Seoul and lived there until august 2016 and had the best year of my life.

But what will your blog be about then, Agnes?
You can probably figure out that I will write a lot about Korea, WHAT A SHOCKER! But I will also just write about whatever I feel like writing about. I started this blog to have as a hobby or whatever, because I've recently noticed that I'm not feeling very happy or satisfied with life and I'm scared that I'm actually starting to get an depression. So making this blog is one of my attempts to make life more fun to turn my mental health around for the better.

Well... I hope I haven't scared you away and I hope that you will stay here and keep on reading my blog!
