I HATE people that do promotion because they have this personality or this attitude, I do not know what it is with them but it is something that I do not like. Days before I came to England, this cute guy added me on Facebook. Adam told me right away that he was a promoter. A couple of days after I had arrived I get a message from this guy about a promo job. I did not know if I wanted to do it at first but later I thought, why not! So I told him yes. He told me to change my cover photo, so if you (Facebook friends) were wondering why I had changed my cover photo to the one I have now you now know why. He told me to first come along one night to see how everything works and then after freshers week was over I would be able to start doing jobs and get payed, WOHOO! (I am selling my soul!). At this point I do not know much and he will contact me soon again, I do not know how this will turn out to be either, but it might be fun!

Stay tuned for more event promos, lol

Cheers mate!

So yesterday was the tryout for the school boxing team. I had sign up for football, MMA (but only going to the kickboxing practices), and boxing. I have been training thaiboxing with MMA people before and they tend to be too rough for me (I heard it...!) so I decided to only go to the boxing tryout and just skip the football because they were too serious for me, I am just going to be here for one semester, so.... Anyway, I went there and I told them that I was not going to do anything cause I was having a cold (still do) and that I just came to show my interest and to see what level people were at. They were all beginners, shocker! I told them right away that I have been practicing muay thai for 1,5 years and that I am NOT going to go through all the basic things again, but if they did have anything for advanced people or something in a faster speed I was interested. He told me okay and that I should come back another day and gave me the schedule. I went home, nothing happened. THEN, today I woke up by an unknown phonically but it was local cause there were no +46 or anything, so I answer. It was one of the coaches from the day before that told me to come back another day if I was interested in the advanced classes. He told me that he was sorry if he was too short during our conversation because he was too busy to talk and that he and the HEAD COACH of the school boxing team would like to have a sit-down with me tomorrow over a cup of tea (LOVE how people here do not suggest coffee, I HATE that shit!!!) about what I could bring to the team. Because I have been practicing muay thai for so long he thought that I could be a great "asset" for them. I am a bit nervous about the meeting tomorrow cause what if I am not what they thought and I still have a cold so I can not practice and I have not been practicing at all this entire summer so I might not be able to show them what I got and when I do I WILL be out of shape!!!!! GAAAAH!!!! I am going to be cool about it, just gonna play it cooooooool! WISH ME LUCK!!

Well,

Cheers mate!

Today we went to another city called Durham. Apparently the best school for biology and chemistry is there, Durham university. Not interesting BUT there is a cathedral right next to the school and in there they filmed some of the scenes for Harry Potter!!! The scenes where they walk around the student halls are filmed there. It was really cool walking around there, I mean everything looked smaller then the movies but short people look taller on TV so I guess they did some photoshopping. It was not that much more to see (if you only came for the Harry Potter experience) so we kind of went back home right after. We are planning to go to Scotland to continue our Harry Potter hunting. I think the Hogwarts castle is there.

The Harry Potter toure will be continued,

Cheers mate!

It fels like I never left Sweden. Not only because I am here with like 10 people form class from Sweden and because there are two Swedish girls living in the same flat as I am but, except the H&M stores it feels like I see Swedish things everywhere. Clas Ohlsson exists here, only if you are a Swede you will understand the surprise, or you do not. There is sooooooo many Swedish student at the school, which I did not know, that this school was so attractive to Swedish people. Then today we passed a cafeteria, which is owed by a Swedish couple from Katrineholm. The place is called DALA and they sell Kalles kaviar, herring from ABBA, Marabou chocolate, Ahlgrens bilar, YOU NAME IT, AND they have breakfast! Also, everywhere you go there is a Swedish song on the radio. One of the things that gives it away that I am not in Sweden is the cheap alcohol prices.

I really do not miss home and I know that I have been bad at calling family and friends but I mean, they understand, I am busy with settling down, getting to know new culture and people, yeah, you know. I am not going to be here for a long time, 3 and a half month, so it feels like I have to do as much things as possible because I am on my way back home soon...

Did not have that much to say more than I am sorry for not uploading more frequently but I am starting to getting a life (LOL),

well,

Cheers mate!

Long time no writing. Now I have moved out from the nest again. This time to Newcastle in England, like up north where you cannot understand what they are saying cause it is almost like Scottish, I think.

I came two days ago. My friend was waiting for me at the airport, took me to my dorm room, never lived like this before so I think it is going to be fun. It is something I think you just have to do during your student life... I said hi to the girls in my dorm, left my things, met my friends that also are doing the exchange semester here for dinner and then my friend from England showed us around. We had a blast. But wait for it, the funniest part has not happened yet. So I wake up in the morning (yesterday) and walk into the kitchen and I see my classmate standing there, whom I did not even had any knowledge about that was doing the exchange semester. I do not know why, I just thought he stayed in Sweden. Anyway, I get so surprised that I forget about my roommates so I scream out "OMG". He turns and sees me and just can not put things together. After we said hi I hear a voice behind me and turn around and omg, it was ANOTHER OF MY CLASSMATES!!! I am like WHAT!? We laugh and it was just crazy. Apparently when I came the day before they were not in the room and had come back later when I was out and about. The world is CRAZY small!! We are a couple of classmates that came here but I was suposed to live with my friend from Russia but they denied her visa,, stupid people SHE IS NOT DANGEROUS! She might not come so all of my other classmates live together and I thought I would be by myself, BUT then it turns out that the other girls that are staying in my dorm are ALSO Swedish, omg, this crazyness overload is massive! We did not ask each other were everyone were from and because of my English accent they thought I was American... LOL!!! Anyway, because I thought this whole "being along" experience could lead me to getting to know new people it did not bother me that much anyway! And now when I know what I DO have a classmate in my dorm it does not bother me AT ALL! I am super happy!

After that crazy reunion my friend from England (Adam) took us back home to Sweden (IKEA, LOL)! We just had to buy all the necessary things for the kitchen and bedroom, you know, the usual. Right now I am just super tired, it had been so hectic from the moment we arrived. We came Friday night, went out right after, came home around 4 am, slept just a couple of hours, went to IKEA, came home and unpacked ALL my stuff + the things we had just bought, made dinner, met up with the other guys and then came home around 4 am again, and now I am here. I need more sleep hours. I am going to make myself some noodles and then take a power nap before we hit the streets again!

As they say there,

Cheers mate!

Here we go: When getting to NYC one of my luggage disappeared. They told me to report this back home in Sweden, OK. I already know that I had a 12 hours stopover in NYC so I just waited until it was my turn. After 12 hours and some lighting and thunder I thought it was my turn to leave, but noooooooooo, I couldn't be more wrong. The weather didn't let any flight for the last 6 hours to take off or land. I mean I had already waited for 12 hours, 6 more were nothing to me.

When sitting there I realize that I'm surrounded by more then 10 old people that are on their way on an Eurotrip. If you've ever seen "Babys day out", the scene where the baby find himself with the group of old people and they all want to hold him and talk to him. That was me. They were all so curious about where I was going, coming from, doing in Sweden and everything that I've done in Brazil. I had fun 😃, seriously!!! There were also a mother with her 9 months old daughter hanging out with us. That little girl was the cutest thing I've ever seen!!! Her mom had worked with some famous designer from Italy that I've never heard of before but she was so cool so we talked about that for a while. She was from Amsterdam but she lived in NYC. I wasn't bored at all and I had no worries about what would happened next. Our plane to Amsterdam had now arrived and we were on the way!!

In Amsterdam, of course, I had missed my flight to Gothenburg, Sweden. They all knew this when I arrived and they had promised to fix it. The only problem was that all the flighst directly to Gothenburg were full and I had to take the flight through Stockholm, FML. At this point I have NO idea were my luggage are. When boarding the flight from Amsterdam to Stockholm they take my carry on bag and say that the flight is now full and they don't let people take their luggage inside the plane because it will get to heavy so they will take it through the check in instead. Okay, that makes sense… I think.

When arriving in Stockholm I'm already late because the flight didn't take off in time, as always. So what they told me to do was, because I had only 20 minutes to get to my gate, run to my gate and take my flight and when arriving in Gothenburg then report that I've lost my luggage, otherwise I would miss my flight! So this is what I did!!

When arriving in Gothenburg I had no luggage at all! Please give KLM a round of applause 👏👏👏(btw, I had 4 luggage)

Waiting outside for me was my beautiful mother, my handsome father, my beloved brother AND my one and only Ida Fallah, she is my sister, my best friend and the only one that's always are there for me (ecxept the other 4 people that I just mentioned) ❤!!! #ilovemyfamily

72 hours later and no luggage but I made it, I'm home.✌

see you soon, xoxo

We arrived in São Paulo some time in the morning, I don't remember.

We went back to the hotel, had some breakfast, took a shower and slept until the final game started. I and another Argentine family were cheering for Argentina when the whole restaurant including my friends and the ones working there were cheering for Germany. This is how Brazilian people work; when it benefits them they are German people but when you are going to show the foreigners how patriotic you they are, they are Brazilian all of a sudden. Yes I know that Brazilian people don't like Argentina, but this is an observation that I've done for 6 months!

Argentina lost. Poor Messi. I don't like him but this happened for years ago against Spain too. They came second.

At night we went to SkyBar. This is a bar on the top of a hotel. You have a beautiful view from up there. I really recommend doing there if you ever find yourself in São Paulo.

When we get to the airport after all stressing around trying to cancel our Brazilian phone numbers everything are delayed. We take the bus to the International airport and when we get there I'm send into the business line because otherwise we would have missed our flight. After running and jumping into the plane me and Ebba are on the way to NYC.

(pictures are coming later I lost my luggage, I'll explain later)

see you soon, xoxo

We had planned with one of Angela’s uncle's, Frank, friend to meet him in the city and then he would take us somewhere for our last night in Colombia.

First we had dinner with Frank, Vivian and Santiago. Santiago was the friend that was taking us out that night. Vivian is an old friend of Frank. It was also planned for us to sleep at Vivian’s place that night because she lives in the city. Her daughter Marian was supposed to come as well but then she had to babysit and she couldn’t make it. Too bad because she had a really cool personality. She is from Colombia but goes to high school is the States because she later wants to get into a collage where she can study to become an actor.

Well, during the dinner Santiago asks me what kind of music we like and to what kind of place we would like to go to. We all answers electronica music. He left earlier and then the rest of us would come and meet up with him and some of his friends.

When we get to the club that turns out to be the most Colombian club you could ever go to, before continuing I would like to start saying that I LOVED that place and I’m SUPER happy that he didn’t listen to us!!!!

I know I can’t dance but once we started to dance some salsa or whatever we did we never went back to sit down!!

Before we left for dinner we told Frank that he should come to the club but he said no but he might stay for just one hour. No one left until 4 am, together. We all stayed together which I loved, we had sooooo much fun!! After the club we went to McDonald’s, of course. Frank was supposed to drive back home but he had been drinking the same amount as us so dear Vivian had to take the wheels. Franks car is a pickup truck. We were 7 people that were going together to McDonald’s. Me and another guy I can’t remember the name of took the opportunity to sit back in the trunk of the pickup, if that is what you call it!!!! I’ve always wanted to do that, haha!!! It was so fun and Vivian was driving kind of fast too, haha!!

Colombia was an success and a great ending of the whole Brazilian trip (even though we had one night left in São Paulo before leaving the continent)!!

Antioquia is a city about one hour from Medellín.

It's a beautiful town with colorful houses and decorations on the houses. When walking around there you can't stop taking pictures of all of them.

(From nowhere when we were sitting and having something to drink these group of people were walking behind a hearse. They took out the coffin with the body which was a little bit weird because it was like two coffee shops in front of them and then they walked into the church. I've never been so close to a dead body before. I didn't take pictures because I thought that might be rude. People were crying so I started cry too, quietly so my friends wouldn't see, hehe! I always cry when I see someone else cry, especially my brother. I remember when we were little and when he cried I cried, haha! You can always be comfortable crying with me because you know you won't be the only one crying 😏)

When we came to the final destination I panicked and could already feel the pain in my knees. We were about to walk up 2,135 m (7,005 ft) up the mountain which later turned out to be 720 steps.

At the top of the mountain you had a beautiful view over the city and you could see the apartment buildings from that colorful town.

The way down was worse than the way up. I died.

see you soon, xoxo
