Our second day in Oslo was beautiful, sunny and warm! We started our exploring the downtown financial district which is full of really interesting architecture. We strolled around some beautiful neighborhoods on the edge of the hills. After some lunch we headed over to the royal palace and government buildings. We played in many parks and enjoyed such a beautiful day where everyone was outside enjoying the weather.

I made it through my first international flight thanks to the hard work from my mom and dad helping me get some sleep so that I'd be ready to roam the streets of Oslo as soon as we got there! It was so amazing to see the Faroe Islands and Norway from above the clouds. The mountains of Norway on our way to Oslo were covered in snow. We landed and I was really excited to head to the hotel to take a nap. After a quick re charge we headed out for a walk and we were so lucky because it was a beautiful sunny day with temperatures in the 70's. There were so many other babies out it was unbelievable every other person was either pregnant or pushing a baby in a stroller! I was so excited to make new friends. Our hotel is in the perfect location right by the central station. We walked past the cathedral and headed toward the river to a trendy area called Grunnerlokka. We went shopping and did some people watching and saw some street musicians. After exploring we headed back to the hotel for some pizza and it was bed time. Of course I had trouble falling asleep so my parents took me to watch the sunset from the roof of the Oslo Opera house and it was so beautiful!

Goodnight until tomorrow xx
