Pics from a nice walk with some friends in the late winter sun.
When the sun goes down early in the north, during the winter times.
Walking around this river is one of my favorite places in this town. It makes me feel peaceful and calm within. I am happy that I was able to show this to my friends from the UK when they were here for a visit 😊
Today I've been working at The Body Shop, which was fun as usual. I am pretty tired as I was doing a night shift at the Care last night.. I don't sleep very well over there. I always feel like someone is watching me and I hear weird noises as well... Good thing I got earplugs, haha. Now it's time to make dinner. I think I will go for potatoes and carrots in the oven with steamed broccoli. Something simple and easy as I am not too hungry today.
Have a good Saturday everyone! 😘
LOTS OF LOVE XX
Before I went to work I took a d-tour. The first signs of winter. Frost. The ground and trees were all frozen! These pictures turned out quite nice in the end. I think. I had a lovely day at work today as usual. I feel more confident while I'm talking about the products. I am learning :D
I will see if I'll do an illustration later today. It's been a while xx
Not far from Falkenberg Central, we got a nice small little farm (next to it you can find a park for the kids to play) with goats, sheeps, hens and other kinds of birds. There should be mini pigs as well, but I think they have already been moved over to another farm for the winter.
The sheep's are so cute!
Good day! Its bank holiday Monday. Wish I wasn't working today. Good thing is we do Sunday hours so its not too bad. Here's some pictures from yesterdays adventure. We were so lucky with the weather! I wish we brought some fruit for a picnic. I think it would be amazing to sit on the hill and just enjoy the view a little bit longer (especially the view we had from the last picture). xx
Today, me and my friend Beni went for another adventure. We took a little trip to Painshill Park. I saw the most amazing crystal grotto!!! All the crystals has carefully been attached one by one. I can't imagine how long it took for the final results. But it sure is breathtaking. I will upload more pictures tomorrow. For now, have a good Sunday evening xx
Yesterday I had the most amazing time hanging out with my friend Beni. It was a really nice day so we decided to visit Virginia Water, which is not that far away from where we live. On our way to the park, we passed by a field. Behind the field there were a piece of land surrounded by a fence and inside there was a small "Gazebo". From history that part of land is owned by America. If I would enter I would break a law in the States. A part of me wanted to step one of my feet in there. Because then I would be able to say I am in the UK and US at the same time, haha.
All of a sudden it started to hail, so we took cover under a small tunnel.
You might recognize the lake. Many films has taken place on this location, and Harry Potter is one of them.
The Roman City of Leptis Magna.
The source of many of the stones that were used to create The Ruins at Virginia Water is Leptis Magna, a Roman city sited on the shores of the Mediterranean near Tripoll, in present day Libya. Founded before the birth of Christ, Leptis Magna flourished during the first and second centuries AD. The site developed into a fine, classical Roman city with a theatre, colonnades, temples and a market.
After the fall of the Roman Empire, Leptis Magna, was occupied briefly by the Byzantines but today is an abandoned site, still largely buried in the sand.
I love visiting parks. Surrounded by history, amazing nature and the beauty of trees. xx
For 6 hours we spent our time at Mall of Scandinavia. I thought the mall was very well put together. I loved all the individual interior designs, along side the walking paths inside the mall and as well as the stores themselves. I could tell a few inspirations was taken from the mall of america in Minneapolis. I bought a simple black dress from Bull and Bear and a few things from Lagerhaus. I had a lovely smoked salmon salad... Later in the evening we went and saw the melodifestival. xxx
I had a lovely time in Stockholm. The flight to the capital of Sweden went smooth. I slept through the whole journey, which was amazing. I waited for about 3 - 4 hours at the train station for my mom and sister to arrive, which was a bit long. Checked in at First Hotel Norrtull and later on went in to central and the old town. It was nice to see the old town of Stockholm, as I have never been there before. We ended the evening with some Italian. xxx
