What a surreal day. So, the day before I stayed awake until very late.. Maybe drinking an energy drink until very late probably isn't the greatest idea. However, I managed to fall asleep after midnight. My alarm went off at 5am. I got myself ready and left the house at 6.30. Me and Beni took the train towards London Paddington. We managed to arrive at 8 as we arranged.. A.W.S.O.M.E. Beacuse there wasn't that many people ahead of us (and there wasn't a queue to collect Beni's wristband either). The staff at Debenhams took very well care for all of us. Gave us bottle of water and coffee to keep us warm (and a free bag). When it turned 10am they opened up the doors. Already at 10.30 I got to meet Kat. She was so kind and sweet. i did hesitate for a bit to give the painting I made the night before. But I gave it anyways. She really liked it :)
One thing is that I wished she could've signed my book. But the fact she wants to meet all 3.000 of us, I understand it wouldn't be possible. Maybe some other time in the future :) Being an early bird and standing outside in the cold at 8am to get a great amount of hugs and a nice chat with her, was def worth it!
