Wooh! I just dyed the top of my hair in a dark brown and the tips in a burgundy pink! I then drenched the hair in a leave-in hair nourishment and that's why it looks so shiny. I'll have to refresh the pink every week to maintain it, and for that I bought a pink hair masque called 'pink pop'. Laterz!

This is a continuation from my first blogpost on Monte Summano - A group of friends organised a day hike earlier this year, where we climbed Monte Summano, a mountain in Veneto. We made several stops on the way to enjoy the view, and I had brought my new vice Gingerino - a bitter, red ginger drink.

After our climb to the top, we had ourselves some Girolimino. On the top of the mountain there is a small monastery that's been around since the 15th century. The monks of the monastery gathered the wild herbs of Mount Summano and used them to spice a liquor called Girolimino. It's a green and fresh liquor which you can enjoy in the bar next to the monastery.

After climbing to the very top, silently admiring the view, a nun appeared. She slowly passed us by, basked in the sun for a bit, and then headed back to the monastery (see the picture further up). Magical.

Pictures from August, from Värmland and from when I was designing emblems for my webshop.
We passed many pretty Hogweed/Björnloka in bloom. Top picture is Coneflower, from a garden we passed.

Wen I visited my friend Kristina in London I found some of these pretty garments at a charity shop in her neighbourhood. This wollen jacket that fitted me perfectly!

My fairy friend and fellow illustrator colleague Maria Trolle visited my studio the other day! We're both currently working on our own flower-related projects so we might as well get together and share our flower-vibes amongst eachother.

Maria Trolle is the creator behind the book Blomstermandala ('Twilight Garden'), a flower- and gardening-themed colouring book that's been released in Sweden, Finland, The US, Japan, Russia and The Netherlands. Right now she's working on the sequel for Blomstermandala, a new colouring book called Skymningstimman ('The Dusk Hour')! In these pictures you see her putting the final touches on some of the artworks for the book.

I am also working on lots and lots of plants, but for something else ;) You'll find out soon!

It's always superfun to work together with Maria, time really flies for us while we shower eachother with feedback. Maria really has a good eye for, and experience in, colour schemes and composition and I know I'll always get excellent advice.

We'll post more pictures as we progress! Maria's book Skymmningstimman will be released in June later this year.

Last time I was in Italy we visited Verona. This is the bridge of Castelvecchio, a castle from the Middle Ages. The intention of the bridge was to allow a safe way to escape the city in case of an attack or a coup d'état

I was thinking of having a studio sale in March (an annual occasion where I sell art and sketches for a reduced price) so I'm finishing some things that's been lying around alongside with working on my series "Circles". Mess is building up as I progress. These pics were taken during different stages of mess in the end of February - beginning of March and you can tell by the light that we went from clear weather to lots of snow and cloudy skies, right?

Today is International women's day! I was asked by the coaching service Kvinna till Kvinnor ("Woman to Women") to give an advice to women, and I am honoured that my advice was published today on Women's Day!

My words are: "To be a woman with a girl’s heart is my advice. There is strength in being like a child. A child looks at their own creations with wonder and excitement. That sheer joy of being able to create and to be a creator. There is a boldness in a heart as naive as the heart of a child.

Protect yourself with the strength of a woman, but create with the untamed heart of a fragile and wild girl. If your heart brakes, create with your blood. If your heart soars, create with your excitement. If your heart is still, teach others how to create."

This morning there were three squirrels in the trees outside my home! They've multiplied since last year, I am stoked about this. Squirrels are one of my favourite animals and to be able to watch them jump around in the trees from my kitchen window is super awesome.
