One misty morning me, Massimo and Filippo went to one of the nature reserves of Parco del delta del po in the region Emilia Romagna in Italy. I am not so used to mist so the mere soup-like thickness of it was fascinating to me. There was a bird watching tower we climbed, from which we saw many white herons looking for breakfast in the shallows and plenty of terns flying around (mostly sooty terns I think). I would love to have seen a white-winged tern (they almost look unreal! Crazy pretty) but I guess this area wasn't marshy enough for them. We walked around the area and did some more bird watching, but it was a bit too early in the season to see a great variety. The area was beautiful though, and the mist super cool.

Oh boy, when we were in Ravenna we had the chance to visit the tomb of the great Italian poet Dante Alighieri.

His remains are buried in a small, white marble mausoleum. Surprisingly the mausoleum is situated in an out-of-the-way location in a little side street, close to Basilica di San Francesco. It took us a while to find it since we didn't expect the great Dante to have such humble tomb at the end of a narrow side street. I took some pictures of the beautiful details that decorated the mausoleum, the animal skulls being a favourite. If you visit Ravenna it's worth the while of searching to visit his tomb.

Me and fellow illustrator Isabel Leal were painting Live n Direct at the Loyal Gallery yesterday during a fashion event for London-based fashion brand River Island. I was making fashion styled portraits of the influencers attending and Isabel were decorating River Island shoes with camo patterns and names.

The influencers themselves were invited to doodle all over some canvas while under the influence of wine (does it count as an influencer?). It was great fun, I love painting live!

My friend Ela is showing her latest artistic project at Lemon Bar at the moment, and yesterday it was the opening night. It was like an old class reunion and as the night went on Ela was buried under a load of flowers.

Visit her haunting exhibition at Lemon Bar - Scheelegatan 8, 112 23 Stockholm!

These pics were snapped by me, Ela and Liselott.

Wooh! I just dyed the top of my hair in a dark brown and the tips in a burgundy pink! I then drenched the hair in a leave-in hair nourishment and that's why it looks so shiny. I'll have to refresh the pink every week to maintain it, and for that I bought a pink hair masque called 'pink pop'. Laterz!

This is a continuation from my first blogpost on Monte Summano - A group of friends organised a day hike earlier this year, where we climbed Monte Summano, a mountain in Veneto. We made several stops on the way to enjoy the view, and I had brought my new vice Gingerino - a bitter, red ginger drink.

After our climb to the top, we had ourselves some Girolimino. On the top of the mountain there is a small monastery that's been around since the 15th century. The monks of the monastery gathered the wild herbs of Mount Summano and used them to spice a liquor called Girolimino. It's a green and fresh liquor which you can enjoy in the bar next to the monastery.

After climbing to the very top, silently admiring the view, a nun appeared. She slowly passed us by, basked in the sun for a bit, and then headed back to the monastery (see the picture further up). Magical.
