Compared to Sweden spring always arrives earlier here and it is my favorite time of the year in this country. The trees are in full blossom. I have waaay too many photos like this....but gah - so pretty!

Told you! This tree had its fully blossom before I arrived, sadly. But it was still so pretty to walk around Oscar's work, which is a college where they filmed some parts of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire!

Easter has arrived, which you can tell by all the tourists and also all the Easter treats at work! It might be a bit busier, but it is so pretty and people are happy so it is alrighhtttt!

Okay, so english readers wont understand my obsession with this man, but if you are a swede - you know. Darin has released a new song - and video AND it makes me so happy! And to sprinkle some glitter on top he did like my tweet to him. He is so precious.

Almost all of my so called "selfies" are found on Snapchat nowadays but the other day was happy and warm day which I documented with a little photo. Haha, sounds so silly. Oh well, this is me.

It has been a couple of days filled with stress. However, it was really nice to come outside for a while with my camera and put all my focus in that.

Today I handed in my assignment, which was such a relief as this has been going on for ageeees. Nice to have it out of the way and see what next course has to offer.

Since I quit my last job I have had late shifts. It has resulted in me waking up pretty late for about 5 months or so and last week I had to wake up 6am and it was such a difficult feeling. I was like a zombie the first days, but I got used to it now. The coming week is filled with early shifts for me, so gonna go to bed after I finished watching Sherlock tonight!

It is finally 2017 and I could not be more happy.

2016 started out great with Portugal, Budapest and also a 6 month long course in English: Written Proficiency. I felt like life was going in the right direction and life was overall very good.

In the middle of the year I started to be more and more down. My mood changed, I was not as happy as before and I felt like life was against me with my job, not getting accepted to uni and just in general.

I decided to quit my job and look for another job, I got one and just a couple of days later I got accepted to uni - information architecture web content management. This resulted in a part time job and a new proper start when it came to school. It was exciting and I started to be more happy with how my life was. Yet, I struggled a lot with myself as a person and who I want to be and with who I want to be with and where. So many questions and decisions.

The year finally came to an end and now I want to start fresh. This year will be focused on me, on my well being and my main goal for 2017 is to be as happy and positive as possible. There will be times when life is difficult, but that doesn't mean I don't deserve a happy life, perhaps just look at it from a different angle. So, let's do this!!

Today me and Oscar woke up to below 0 °C and everything was covered in ice. The sun was shining so we decided to go for a walk. I brought my camera, mostly because I want to improve my photography but also because Oscar is a very handsome model, haha!

Hey!

December has been a very Christmassy month for me. On the 13th of December me and Matilda had tickets for Lucia in London, in an old asylum. We booked the tickets back in September, so safe to say we were excited to celebrate the swedish Lucia tradition with saffron buns, julmust and gingerbread! They sang beautifully and it was such an amazing atmosphere! Before the celebration we took some time to enjoy Winter Wonderland. I have been there every year since I moved to the UK and I still love it every year. Hot chocolate, fairylights, happy people and christmas music made this years visit as good as the ones before. If you haven't been, you should definitely go at some point in your life.

After some trouble with not receiving tickets and me sending email complaints me and Oscar finally got to go to Christmas at Blenheim, anddd ohh myyy lord! It was literally heaven. Lights everywhere, colourful ones, yellow ones, red ones, you name it! It was so beautifully arranged and yes, I am glad we managed to go after all, because it was simply stunning!
Here are some (read alot) of photos from the days. Safe to say these days gave me the christmas spirit deluxe!

This is a completely unedited photo I took a few days ago. The weather here in UK is changing and it is below 10C now. I like it however, chilly with sunshine, just my cup of tea.
Lately I've been working and studying on daily bases, one or another or both. Uni is going well, first course is done and we are currently learning about web content and strategies. Interesting but takes a lot of time to understand.

I can not believe it is October already though. 2016 has gone by so quickly and it is almost christmas time.

Hope you are all good out there and life is treating you well. Cheers!

I am back, and this time I feel better than ever.
I have had quite a bumpy ride when it comes to education, what to chose and where... but I have finally been accepted to a uni I feel can give me what I want and need in future life, and I am happy about it. I was so certain what I wanted to study in high school, but after it all changed and I was so lost and felt so down about life in general. That was a low point in my life, and from now on, it can only be better.
Photos above are from my instagram (binanas - follow)

It has been a while since I wrote here. Sorry. Life has come between and I have had my ups and down in every aspect of life. Work, relationship, friendships, uni and family. The last week I went to Sweden, it was much needed, I needed to fix a new passport, see friends and family and of course visit dads new house. I had a really good week and got to experience Swedish summer, which I so gratefully appreciate. I am not sure what is home anymore, my childhood home and house is no longer ours and dads new house is not my home. Truth is, Oxford has become my home. This is what I know best now, it is my daily life and the people here have grown closer to my heart than I expected. I am still a bit lost on my tracks, but I am getting there....slowly.

Life is actually going quite well now...Work is going forward, I study and I am in a happier mood than last year. I am trying to see everything in a positive way from now on....and it is working.
I have so much to be happy and grateful for. Peace.
