Hello

Mothersday is a day when you celebrate the mothers all over the world. Every family has their own way to celebrate this day.

The celebration of Mother's day in USA began in the early 20th centery. The Americans are celebrating mother’s day the second Sunday of may, while Sweden are celebrating the mother’s dag on the last sunday in May.

The mother's day started in USA when Anna Jarvis held a memorial for her mother in a Church. She wanted to make shore that her and all the other mothers all over the planet was remembered for who they were or are. In 1908 did the Us Congress agree that mother's day maby would be an official holliday. In america many peples bys flowes and cards to get to their mothers. It is also usual to go to the Church at mother's day. Religious peoples celebrate the day with carnations. If the mother still is alive the carnations are colured, and if the mother has passed away the flowers are white.

Here in Sweeden, mother's day was first celebrated in 1919. At the begining just a small group of peoples celebrated mother's day. It took several decats to get the day to be recongnized. Peoles who were born in the early nighteen hundread did not celebrate the day because of the common elief that the holiday was invented only for comercial perposes. Like the Americans we like to pick or buy flowers to our mothers.

There is both similar and different things aout mother's day.

This is my neighbours kittens. They look so cute and all of them have the colors from their dad and the print from their mum as you can see in the lower picture. They don't have any names yet. They are only six weeks old now and I can make sure that they don't want to be in this little box anymore. They run all over the garden to play and I run after them:). They are so cosy and their mum likes me a lot so when I am coming home to them she comes and wants me to pat her.
