Upping my gym game means i have upped my smoothie game

Starwberry, Spinach, Protein Powder and Water. TASTES VILE !!!!! added some berries in and managed to finished it of hahaha ah well, plenty more to experiment with. :) happy tuesday .

This tastes like pudding for breakfast. I had porridge, rice milk, frozen black berries and flax seed.

Off to the gym this late morning and then meeting with friends. I have decided to make the gym fun again. focussing on trying out new exercises, today it will be the bike. :)

I have not blogged in sooooo long. I have been busy with work and holidays. I recently went to Amsterdam and I have been steadily going to the gym. I have learnt how to make flapjack so might make some more tomorrow. Its a rainy saturday and I have to get ready for work now so here are a few picture of me in Amsterdam.

Its Monday and I feel like rubbish. So Ive slept for absolutely ages and got up and baked bread. I tried this once before but this time I did a much better job. Been feeling very sluggish, and think my busy schedule is finally catching up to me. This week I am wanting to do some baking, probably tomorrow, and perhaps I will get my friends to help me. Work later so time to pack my bag and get my uniform on.  HAPPY MONDAY

This was put together really quickly one night this week, and on a really rubbish camera, as I have once again be overwhelmingly busy. Plans keep popping up meaning that I am always out of the house.

This smoothie was berries along the bottom and pineapple along the top. It was mainly just messing about with the ingredients that I had left. This morning I am walking into town to the health shop to pick up some vegan snacks, and also to the fruit and veg shop. But for now I think I will have another lazy hour in bed.

I will pick back up this tuesday and continue, but I had a hectic week.

On Tuesday I went to London, and then work for the rest of the week. I took time away to refocus and I am coming back stronger and healthier. Over all, since eating healthy I have lost almost 2 stone !!!!

I am now a fully declared vegetarian and looking into being vegan… which means no more smoothies with Greek Yoghurt.

These are a few snaps of my week, and I am beginning my week with a healthy porridge with fruit and flax seed. LETS GET THE WEEK GOING ! ! !

Smoothie Week has begun…...with strawberry yoghurt, banana and frozen berries. It even matched my microwave.

I have no idea what tomorrows smoothie will be but hey thats the surprise of it all. Today I am going to make a new goal of introducing more plant based ingredients into my smoothies, especially for the mornings to fill me up. I have a lot of early shifts, which means that it is easier for me to skip meals. Therefore I think prepping the night before and making snacks, rather than one big meal, will be more beneficial.

Yesterday I had quorn steak strips, tinned tomatoes and brocoli on a bed of Lettuce. It was very nice, and tasted fresh. I made a large batch and had the same for dinner with some bread.

Today I bought more fruit and veg, and have been experimenting with recipes. Next week I will be doing a Smoothie a day… 7 New Smooties… Bring on the Challenge!!!

Last night I went to the Castle to view the Poppies. They were part of a collection originally shown at the Tower of London. It was very inspiring. We walked round the Castle walls and got to view the installation from all angles.

Today I am going to do some cooking, make some smoothies but over all have a good rest. TGIF!!!
