use a tissue to set your makeup. After you've applied your foundation, if you don't have powder, you can use a tissue to set your makeup and keep it in place. The fibers make it great for getting rid of any shine as well. Just separate the tissue in half and pull it apart, then blot the inside of it on your face.

mix a shinny eyeshadow with your foundation. For a luminous glow, mix a loose shinny eyeshadow into your foundation, apply it on your cheekbones, and blend in. This will give you a fresh, allover glow that is perfect for a holiday party or just healthy-looking and fresh skin in the winter months.

apply an orange pigment to any dark or muddy spots. To brighten up dull skin around your mouth or under your eyes, apply an orange pigment or cream with a brush around any darkness or muddiness (this works to hide a bit of dark upper lip hair, too). You can also mix a bit of orange lipstick into your foundation to help even out your skin.

use a cotton ball to apply blush. If your makeup brushes aren't within reach, opt for a cotton ball to apply blush. It will pick up the color and go on without streaking. Just lightly whisk the pad on the blush, smile, then apply it on the apples of your cheeks. (You can also use cotton balls for applying any powdered makeup, including pressed powder.)

exfoliate your lips with sugar and vaseline. To maintain your lip smoothness, you can exfoliate your lips with a mixture of sugar and Vaseline. It will help prevent chapped lips, enhance your lipstick, and make the color last longer.

mix eye shadow with vaseline or clear gloss. Mix your favourite eyeshadow with Vaseline or clear gloss to create your own custom lip color.

apply lipstick then blot with tissue. A great trick to make your red lips last all night is to first apply the lipstick, then separate a tissue and press the side with the most fiber onto your lip. This will soak up the oil from your lips and create a perfect canvas. Next, brush on translucent powder over the tissue paper to create a matte texture. This will prevent your lipstick from being too thick. Finally, take the tissue off and reapply the lip color.

line lips with a clear pencil. Line your lips with a clear pencil before applying a lip stain to get a perfectly defined placement. Because stains can often be drying (especially in the colder months when our skin is craving hydration), Hollis suggests dabbing a bit of Vaseline or lip balm over your lip stain.

use a credit card as a guide to perfect cat eye/eye liner. To achieve a perfectly even cat eye look, line from the inner corner of your eye until the middle with liquid liner. Then place a credit card on your face (be sure to cleanse it with an alcohol pad or hand sanitizer first) angled upward to the height of your desired cat eye. Then line the rest of the eye using the credit card as your guide.

wet eyeshadow with water. To make your eyeshadow pop even more and last all night, add a bit of water to it before brushing it on.

thinken lashes. To thicken your lashes apply 1st coat mascara then powder on top then the 2nd coat mascara and that should give you proper thick lashes.

  1. MOISTURISING, moisturising helps the skin to repair itself, remain younger, protect it, prevent skin problems prevent raging, conceal skins blemishes and much moreDo you moisturise your skin every day? If you don’t, you should. Both men and women can find many benefits to using high quality facial moisturiser each day. Moisturising your face will help you to look and feel younger, you will have softer, more elastic skin, and it will keep your skin hydrated. All of these things are important if you want to make sure to look as young as you can in the years to come. However, even though making sure to moisturise daily sounds easy enough, there are certainly things that you will need to keep in mind before you use it.First of all, now that you know the benefits to moisturising, including the anti ageing benefits, you should learn more about when and how to use moisturiser. You might think that you can simply place any lotion on your face, and you will gain the benefits, but this isn’t true. You should only be using a moisturiser that is specifically made for the face and should only use one that contains SPF 15 sunscreen or higher. There are moisturisers out there made for both men and women with different formulas, too.In order to get into the habit of moisturising, it is suggested that you do it at the same time every day, such as after you shower, or after you shave. These are ideal times to use moisturiser as your skin will still be wet. This moisture will help pull the lotion in more easily. Before moisturising, make sure that you clean your face thoroughly with a mild cleanser. You don’t want anything too harsh. With your face still slightly damp, apply the moisturiser gently and by using upward strokes. This helps to get the moisturiser into the pores where it belongs. Your skin will begin to absorb the moisturiser almost immediately and typically within five to ten minutes, it will be fully absorbed. Most people will be fine to use over the counter moisturisers, but make sure to buy one that is compatible with your skin type. For instance, if you have oily skin, don’t buy a moisturiser for dry skin. By making sure that you are using the right moisturiser and using it daily, you will certainly see the great benefits over time. using a good moisturiser can help keep the skin well hydrated and not oily.
  2. PRIMING, A lot of people assume that priming this skin consists of using a makeup primer underneath their makeup. It’s true that a good primer will help create a smoother surface and prolong your makeup wear time. However, the process of properly priming the skin starts BEFORE applying the actual makeup primer. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Good skincare and good makeup go together hand-in-hand. If your skin is properly prepped for makeup you will find that your makeup will look and perform so much better! The first step is to cleanse the face with a gentle cleanser. After that, applying a moisturiser is very crucial .It helps replenish moisture in the skin, moisturised skin looks and feels much healthier than dehydrated skin. It also helps create a smooth surface for you makeup application.
  3. SETTING POWDER, A setting powder is basically a loose or compact sheer-to-medium coverage powder that “sets” your foundation or other base makeup so that it lasts longer throughout the day. While everyone wants to glow and make their makeup last longer, nobody wants to look greasy, and powder is a great mattifier. Powder atop your liquid or cream foundation helps to set it so that it won’t migrate into any lines or slide down off your face. Certain powders can also reduce the look of fine lines and pores. Powder is also a great base upon which to apply blush, contour, bronzer, or shimmer. You can apply those things straight on top of your foundation if you like, but everything lasts longer all thru the day with a setting powder in the mix. using a setting powder is really beneficial to all skin-types .
  4. FINISHING POWDER, is generally used AFTER setting powder to blur fine lines and pores, giving you an extra-perfect look. It’s best for situations where you’re going to be photographed, stay in the sun and still want an amazing finish, rather than an essential step for everyday makeup. If you’re going to be dealing with powerful cameras and flashes, you'll need to be careful with finishing powders. If you use too much or don't blend well, you can look like you fell face-down in a bucket of baby powder.

i am still young and a student but i remember when i was much younger as a school girl i used to concetrate much more better with studies and back then all i could think about was school school school and how i can pass my exams and be happy. i was playful too but one thing that always put me to study mood or made me concetrate within seconds where my parents,

guys if you know if you have typical african parents then you know exactly what am talking about. my mommy was a typical black mom and she's the reason to why i used to concetrate 200% without distraction, the only distraction i had was the cain she had in her hand, the cain she would use on me if i don't concetrate on homework, schoolwork and anything worth my concentration. my mommy never got to use the cain on me severely because i was always concentrating.

guys now that am old enough to understand why she did all that and now she don't do that no more but all my mama does now is just to remind me of the struggle back when i was a kid and how she wanted the best for me and still wants the best for me and that alone makes me want to concetrate even more.

*you don't have to switch off your gadgets for you to know you want a future. look back at where you came from and what you want to be. and that alone should be able to drive you towards focusing and concentration.

she used to tell me don't wait till i pull out my cain before you do things right, because....
