Today has been a much better day than yesterday. All the electronics has been working correctly for me. I finish one assignment today, we were supposed to discuss a few questions that was handed out by our teacher in the beginning of the course. I've spent a lot of time inside today which hasn't been that nice since we have had clear blue skies and 23 degrees Celsius with mild breezes. I got to spend a little time out in the sun when we went through the questions and during lunch while we ate some ice cream. You know about my goal to eat better but when it is this nice weather in Sweden you eat ice cream end of story.

So what have I more done today after school, I went to a spring exhibition here in Luleå. Not a lot of people there today, probably due to the nice weather. Walked around and looked at some stuff but didn't find anything I wanted so returned home again. For me the weekend has started and I'm gonna have a glass of wine. Asked for something crispy when I bought it but can't really agree that it was crispy in the way I imagined it to be. But now I know... See you laaater!

Well hello there!

Finally I got the internet to work here at home. I have no idea what the problem has been cause it has been working on my iPad, phone but not my laptop. I've even tried other computers connected to my internet and they have worked. But as usual when this problems appear I call my dad which more or less always solves them and seems to have done it again. It seems like there are some files that get confused or something and has to be removed. I did that and it didn't want to work, so I took a trip to school to see if that would solve the problem and very much so. When I started my laptop at school it worked just as normal. I couldn't concentrate in school so shortly after I downloaded all the material I needed for the day I was on my way back home. And guess what, now my internet works at home as well... Very very weird but it works and well I guess that is what I really care about.

Due to all this complication this morning has made me not accomplish as much as I had wished by this time of the day. But slowly I'm getting there. Might have to move something to this weekend instead or so since the day only has so many hours. In a few hours I'm heading down town to find the second pair of glasses I want to get, it is complicated.. They have to have the right look, right feeling and not be to close to my eyes cause otherwise my eyelashes just make them dirty withing minutes. After the trip into town I'm finally gonna remember to give Julia a call, was supposed to do that Monday afternoon but got distracted by other things. We will both be out walking so we more or less are on a walk together but in different places in Sweden. Later this evening I'm heading to the gym as well, is my goal.

Well that's about it for now. I should make a snack or so and finish off some little task before heading into town!

Good morning!

I'm trying something new, arriving in school way to early. I've been in school for about an hour now and I've gotten quite a lot done already. My goal with this change is to have more time for things not related to school. I always fall asleep between 21-23 depending on how tired I am and waking up early doesn't affect my amount of sleep. What I also have noticed (was waking up early last spring as well) is that I'm the most effective early in the morning. Another thing that is nice is that there isn't anyone else at school so it is very nice and quiet. It is also a nice feeling that when I've done half of my days work is when most of the other students just are getting started.

Well what have I done this morning? I've been studying for my retest that is coming up soon, the date for it might be changed since the teacher was so slow at correcting the test. The school has a policy that the results should be given to the students latest 12 working days before the test and since this hasn't been done the goal is to have the test later.. But I'm aiming at the original date, just in case it doesn't get moved I don't have to stress study the last minute.

When I'm done going through this test I'm doing now (I practice on old tests) I'm going to write a lot for a group project and if I finish that before lunch I'll continue with some research for my essay. If I don't have time for that I'll continue with that tomorrow. In the afternoon, after a break, I'm going to study for my statistics test. For some reason I have real difficulties but I'm working through all the problems from the beginning and hoping that will help and after that start looking at old test. So far I'm almost done with lecture 3 or 4, can't remember. But I've almost done 1/4 of all the pages!

My short break now is over and I should continue working, but first I'm going to get up and walk around a little bit.

Not this much snow left now but still quite a bit, I'll take a new picture this week so you'll see!

tI got lost in time and the blog just got put to the side and therefore also my goals. I have had them floating around in my head but not checked them to the list I made for March... I missed a whole month. Anyway here was the goals for March:

Training:

❤ Go swimming a minimum of 6 times
❤ Go to the gym a minimum of 4 times
❤ Go for 3 longer walks

School:

❤ Pass all my assignments
❤ Pass all the tests I'm taking

Other:

❤ Come half way with the puzzle
❤ Recover from a cold related to stress
❤ Figure out a way to stress down when it is really stressy

Exercise wise I can't really recall how it went but I know I was doing good anyway. I know that last in April I didn't go swimming since my card there had expired. Instead I went for at least three longer walks which I don't recall doing in March. The gym I probably went to 4 times if not even a few times more. I kind of lost track but now I'm logging each time what I do so it will be easier to keep track of that. I passed all my assignments in school but not all my tests. But I'm still happy with what I've achieved. I haven't come half was with the puzzle since I'm still figuring out where to do the puzzle (my apartment is very tiny with not a lot of floor/table space for a huge puzzle..) I recovered from my cold in March but got a new one in April that lasted more or less 2 whole weeks. Still working on ideas how to recover from stress. I have noticed that exercising does help and doing facial masks regularly. More or less making more me time.


So what are my goals for May?

Training:

❤ Go for a minimum of 4 bike rides (about 10 km each time)
❤ Go to the gym a minimum of 12 times
❤ Go for 3 longer walks

School:

❤ Finish my essay in time
❤ Finish my group project in time and do a good presentation
❤ Pass all the tests I'm taking

Other:

❤ Facial mask at least once a week
❤ Cut down on candy, only a few pieces on Saturday
❤ Keep the apartment tidy
❤ Drink 2 liters of water every day

Hey guys!

Since my last test was in the beginning of the period when we have test I've had a bit more than a week off doing nothing. Not even starting my computer (therefore no posts), which has been very nice. But I'm starting to feel restless which I suppose is a good thing! This period is a bit nicer (what is seems like now) in the case that these courses do not have any tests in the end. Perfect time to retake some tests that have been lingering around waiting to be taken again.

Anyways, I just came home from the gym and gonna get some breakfast ready. I'm trying a new training routine since we don't have a lot of lectures (43 lectures in two courses in 2 months time). I'll update you guys later how that is going when a few weeks have gone. After breakfast I'm going to start printer the stuff that needs to be printed and sort out the unnecessary papers that I don't need this period. Well with that said my stomach is wanting some food now!

Goals

One new thing I'm going to start with is that every month I will set a few goal in different sections of my life. The categories will be Training, School and Other. Then at the end of each month I'll look back and see if I reached any of my goals.

So here you have this months goals:

Training:

This past weekend the city arranged a event on the ice up here in Luleå, simply called Luleå on ice. A very creative name... Well it is what it says, a lot of events that take place on the ice. Since I missed it last year I had to visit it this year, so this year I didn't have much of a choice. The weather was perfect, sunny skies and the right temperature, didn't freeze to death and didn't sweat like pigs...

Well, once out by the ice I took a stroll past the fire truck to see what they had in their trucks. You never know if you find something new there. They also had some older models of fire trucks so took a walk around those too. I really should find out how you visit the fire truck museum up here.. Anyways, there where a lot of different people selling food. Some sold hamburgers of different kinds and some just simple hot dogs. But that was not what I wanted, I knew that if you walk out to one of the islands they sell waffles! Not really up to my expectations, could have had one more waffle (you only got one...) but maybe just as well. After eating waffles the walk continued back to the main land.

There was dog sledding, people playing hockey, snowball fight competition thing, obstacle course on ice (they had to carry ice blocks a certain distance, monkey bars (I think) and so on) and then just the normal activities of ice skating (both "normal" and long ice skating) and kick-sledding.

I think the walk around the ice, including the stop for waffles took about 2 hours give or take and when I arrived at home I was tired. The sun and fresh air does take a lot of energy from you!

My goal is to start to use my camera more as well, that might make it more interesting to write posts and more fun for you to read. I was going to bring my camera with out on the ice this weekend but the battery was totally dead so it didn't even start... Well now it is 9 o'clock and it is time for me to start working again!Hi there!

Long time no see. I've been busy with school work all this time. There has been a lot to do, assignments here and assignments there, assignments everywhere plus a few test in 1-2 weeks. So there is a lot to due the coming week as well. Thought I would be writing a lot lately but I just haven't had the energy or time. Everyday when I come from school I seldom pick up my laptop and that results in no posts. My conclusion is that there is no idea for me to promise posts with certain intervals, you get some when I have the time and something fun has happened.

My goal is to start to use my camera more as well, that might make it more interesting to write posts and more fun for you to read. Good morning!

Tomorrow it is Christmas and my parents are arriving before lunch so I'm going to pick them up. Till then I have some last things to do. Go and get some beer we've ordered and then by the last of the food. Some oranges and such. Then just picking up a bit here at home and then off to the gym is my plan. I still haven't decided how to plan my exercise, still changing it every time I go there. Anyway, I'm gonna finish my tea and then get dressed to go and do the last shopping! Talk to you later.

Hi there!

It is December and during this time of the year people like to light candles and have a lot of different lights turned on. There are a few things that you can do to make it more safe. To start with is a fire alarm/smoke alarm, this detects smoke and gives off a loud irritating noise. But the big question is do you know your smoke alarm is working? Well that is easy to test, there is a little button on most of them and you'll hear the noise. This could be good to do with you children or if you're living with other people that everyone know the sound of the smoke alarm and know what to do when they hear it.

A good compliment to the smoke alarm is a fire blanket, this is probably what I see as most useful after the smoke alarm. It doesn't make things messy and is easy to use. The blanket can even be used on people if they for some reason would catch on fire (hope you never have to see that!). My tip is to keep the blanket in the kitchen near the stove and easy to reach and other place that is good to have it is the living room since people often spend a lot of time there and also in the bedroom. You might wonder why in the bedroom? Well the reason for that is that if your smoke alarm goes of during the night and you have the blanket by your bed maybe the fire is still small enough for you to be able to put it out yourself and limit the damages.

The final part which makes your fire equipment complete is a fire extinguisher with powder, the most messy one but the most effective one for most types of fires. If you know how to use a fire extinguisher properly it can be really useful. I think that the fire extinguisher can be placed in the same areas as the fire blanket and for the same reasons.

A last tip now when it soon is Christmas and a lot of people have Christmas trees is to water is properly, the reason why I'll show you in the video underneath. With that said I'm getting up and giving my tree some water! {Link to video }
