Hello beautiful people!! I haven't been very active lately, but it's for a good reason (at least for me) My holiday has finally started, and it's going to be AMAZING. I'm writing now from England, where I've been staying a couple of days with my boyfriend, and finally tomorrow we are taking off to the Philippines!!! How exciting is that?

✈✈✈

Leaving my excitement apart, I wanted to tell you about a really cool London based footwear brand called Juta Shoes, which whom I have recently collaborated with. I got into them through Instagram and I really liked their colourful and original designs. They work with high quality materials like reclaimed leather and they produce super cute and unique handmade espadrilles. They create many different designs with different colours and textures, for example, I received a green leather pair and also a beige/white pair of slippers. I have been wearing them for a couple of days and I have to say the leather is really soft, they are very comfortable and go with everything. They are original and classy as well as being the perfect final touch to your summer outfit❤

Apart from their fab espadrilles, what makes Juta Shoes special is their meaningful brand story. Their environmentally friendly approach using sustainable materials separates them from other brands. But what really touched me was their brand philosophy: their goal is to help unemployed women in the area of Tower Hamlets in London, empower them and teach them how to create beautiful high quality footwear that people will take pride in wearing.

Me out in Canterbury wearing vintage Calvin Klein sunnies, Oliver Bonas electric blue bag, Polo jumper and my Juta slippers.

They also host many different workshops so you can learn how to make your own pair of espadrilles. As they say on their website they make “shoes you feel good in” and I totally agree with it. I reckon we should all have a thought about the importance of helping and supporting local brands that, like Jutas, make a difference, since by doing that not only do we get a unique final product but we help our society to become a little bit better.

This is the other super nice colour that I got, cuties right?

My sister just got this pair of super nice earrings in Mango for her graduation party, so I borrowed them for a little while.

They remind me of an African mask, like the ones you get to see in Quai de Branly Museum, and I find their super classy. My blue shirt is from Bershka and my skirt is H&M. I hope you guys have a great week!!

A few weeks ago I was going for a walk with my boyfriend around Barrio de las Letras looking for a place to have a coffee. We stumbled upon a nice cozy place I have never seen before in San Pedro street, this place was Motteau. It is actually a very small coffee shop with very few tables and chairs but it looked super cute so we decided to try it out.

The place inside is decorated in a kind of vintage style and the thing I especially like is that you can see the kitchen area inside where they make all their amazing cakes just right there. The decoration and tableware are original with that French retro vibe.

I ordered a pecan nuts and caramel cake and my boyfriend got a coconut and dulce de leche and two lattes.

Firstly, the lattes were huge which I personally appreciate since I’m coffee addict. Then the cakes arrived and OMG! They were amazing! Seriously some of the best cakes I have had in Madrid. They very fine quality and reminded me of pastries in Paris where I used to live.

I will definitely be coming back and I 100% advise you guys to visit if you’re in the area. ❤☕

Last 26th of April was my birthday, I turned 24 (feel so old 😰) It was as well my little sisters birthday so we organised a really nice party for her and me in our house that we have in the country side. It was a really fancy party and we all dressed very elegant and classy so I took advantage to wear my Louboutin hand bag that I love and I rarely find the occasion to wear it.

Since I'm an Interior Designer I organised the whole decoration and theme for the party with the white pallets and flowers all in a very boho chic ambience.

It was actually a surprise party for my little sister, so we managed to organise the whole thing without her noticing, well at least that's what she said 😂 We had the greatest time and everyone enjoyed themselves, drinking wine and killing time ❤ 🍸

( I was wearing Zara top and bottoms, Louboutin bag and a pair of shoes that I made my self! )

Barcelona rocks

As a student, Easter Holiday were one of the most awaited moments of the year. I really needed a break and I had the best time doing a express trip to Barcelona with my sister and friends!!

I love Barcelona , I wouldn't mind to move there one day. It's a city that I know very well since part of my family lives there. Weather is amazing, people are super nice and chilled and there's loads of cute and chic coffeeshops and restaurants. During my trip I got the time to go to the beach, walk around El Born, El Raval etc. and I even got tanned👌

I also went to an area in the outskirts of Bcn where my uncle lives called Gavà. He has an amazing cozy house in the middle of the countryside, it's so calm there i loved it. It was full of the most beautiful cacti and flowers, I fell in love🌴

It is weird when this sunny city (Madrid) gets grey, so I thought if it does, so will I. From head to toe, I'm wearing Vans Sunnies, Purificación García yellow blouse, Bershka Trousers, Un Paso Más retro boots and a black leather bag that my lovely and stylish nan offered me.

Colour pop is an American brand founded in 2014 coming straight from the city of Angels. I discovered this brand about 2 years ago, since my older sister is such a make up fan so she was constantly ordering things from their website and (pressuring me to order as well, for free shipping). Eventually I surrendered to the temptation and I got myself some lipsticks. Ever since our colour pop collection hasn’t stopped growing and I can tell you guys that I love this brand!!

What I really love about them, is that they are really innovative when creating new product and you can get so much inspiration on their website. They have many different shades of colours and even though the quality of their products are quite high, it doesn’t break the bank.

The worst part is if you live outside the USA like me, then you’ll have to wait longer and also pay a little more for shipping. However, they usually have a lot of different deals and promotions to help you avoid these costs.💰

Out of the products I have tested so far, the ones that I prefer are the eye shadows. They're super resistant and I love the fact that they have so many colours (I'm such a fan terracotta shades). Also I have a couple of highlighters that are really nice and glittery, they give your face a nice radiant glow. ✨✨

Have you ever been in a store and get the impression that you want literally EVERYTHING that they sell there? Well, then you understand what I feel when I visit & Other Stories.

The firm opened their store a couple of years ago in Madrid, in one of my favourites areas to go shopping as it is Barrio de Salamanca. The Madrid store is built in a space that used to be a theatre in the early 20's, and that became later the really fancy restaurant Teatriz designed by Philippe Starck. The space has been restored to harbor the store, but respecting some of the old elements of the theatre, which gives the result of an amazing space.

Their space in Madrid, in the street Hermosilla 15.

The reason why I love this store is that it has a very Parisian style, even though the firm is originally from the North of Europe. I love their originality and the fact that they normally collaborate with other brands to offer super unique products. I think that this is something remarkable because the way I see fashion is that it should be a way of expressing yourself and your personality, so this store has some things that are quite extravagant and really cute at the same time.

I'm like in love with these bad boys earrings.

Another aspect i like about them is that they tend to use good materials as leather or pure wool for their products, which i personally appreciate a lot.

This is a lovely pair of metallic blue mules that I would love to get for this summer.

This is me with my sweater from & Other Stories. I love the details of it like the sleeves and the frilly neck.

I have a couple more things from them, but I have to admit that sometimes their prices are a bit too high, so I often go there just to get inspiration, which works for me because I like to sew and create my own pieces of clothes.

The general ambience that they project, their packaging, the materials... Shows that they really pay attention to details and whenever you buy something there it feels like it is a special acquisition to your wardrobe. I feel like they're really chic and minimalistic, but they add a little bit of craziness to some of their pieces, especially when combining materials and colours.

This is definitely a great place to visit if your in the area!
