On my way to work the other day, as the rain poured down, I read a tiny book by L.S Hilton while walking in the opposite direction to a crowd of people coming out of the tram as I entered. I barely looked up. I was so lost in the plot when it hit me that I had to get off on the next station. It felt so sudden. I hade just entered. Some writers have the ability to suck us into a different reality. A vitual world in our mind of where we are able to see the lives of the characters. Allowing us to live through their stories as our eyes run effortlessly through the lines.

The same way that great artists have the power to draw us into a different landscape, a field with green hills, or the Aplines covered in snow.

Our mind makes the story come to life, just as it makes the pictures alive. Wether it's the nudes by Degas that makes us apriciate the beauty of a woman's physique, or the magnificent landscapes by Van Gogh that easily removes us from reality. Literature and art go hand in hand like salt and pepper.

I mostly listen to this playlist on sundays, but sometimes I am in a sunday mood and need to chill. However, I do need to expand my playlist. Give me tips on slow, melancholic and soothing music.  Thank you in advance. Have a great christmas still.
