As mentioned on Thursday, I had dinner with my friend Sofie at S:t Eriksplan. An area in town quite close to where I live. I am kind of in love with my sunnies ( Bikbok) . I look like a little mosquito!
I had a pasta with clams ( not sure if that is the right word for it in terms of food) It was okay! It had a lot of garlic in it. As written in a post before, garlic is my addiction!
This is a street at S:t Eriksplan. Its actually a road during colder times when you cant sit outside without freezing anymore. They shut the road down during summers and its mainly a small walk with restaurants and bars.
Friday last week I met up with my good friend Pontus! We actually became friends in Tanzania during IST ( International school of Tanganyika) when I was there for half a year during seventh grade. He is from Sweden as well and I remembered being so happy about that while at IST, so I could talk Swedish with someone haha! There were a lot of more people from Sweden during the time at IST and I became good friends with a guy called Gustaf as well. The funny thing about me and Pontus is that even though we live 20 minutes away from each other by car in Sweden, we never see each other here!! We always meet up in Tanzania for some reason. It's like '' Hey Im going to Tanzania in december'' as for reply '' Me too, see you there!'' Which we do. We hang out in Tanzania and we always ask why we never meet up here when we both live in the same country. Anyway, he texted me asking me if I wanted to break this thing and I said of course!
We went to a cheese and wine restaurant called Old Amsterdam '' Gamla Amsterdam''. Its located at the subway station Mariatorget and I really recommend this place for the cheese-lovers! It had amazing cheese. They have heavier food for those who want something else than just cheese.
We sat down and talked about old memories, what we've missed in each others life since the last time we saw each other ( In Tanzania 1,5 year ago). We talked about the streets of Dar es salaam and the atmosphere on Zanzibar. Places and areas that we both know of. It really was a great evening!
