Pole

Working on getting my front and middle splits going, in order to get better at my flexy tricks. Strength tricks were always my strong suit but flexibility has been my struggle. My new routine is to do ten to fifteen minutes of stretching just after I wake up in the morning and after just two weeks, I am seeing results already. Excited to see where this can take me. Only just over two weeks left in Cyprus and I'm hoping to get a few more pole sessions in before I go.

A few weeks back I booked the flight to, finally, go and experience Bali for my birthday in November. Today, I booked a few hotels. The pictures are of the hotel that I am spending the night before and after my birthday at one of the Gili islands (photo taken from their website) and I am beyond excited! It looks amazing and I have wanted to see Bali for so long, I can't wait. Any tips for places to go and things to do and see are very much appreciated.

Pole, Travel

So I moved to Cyprus. After an exciting 2016 offering a roller coaster ride of life changing events, I got a job as a fitness instructor and massage therapist at a hotel in Cyprus earlier this year. I have already been here for almost six months and have just under a month to go. After this, I'm being sent to Gran Canaria for two weeks, back to Sweden for one and then off to Bali to celebrate my birthday with my man. Oh the excitement ahead.

In the midst of it all, I kind of forgot/postponed/neglected my attempt at a newfound passion for blogging. I'm giving it one more shot to see if I find my life exciting enough to write a public diary and perhaps share my little adventures with those who has nothing better to do with their time than read about how I spend mine.

Although it took me four months to find a pole studio here, I eventually did and I am excited to go play again tomorrow. It is the very best way to spend my days off.

Pole

So, I decided to blog at the beginning of the year and although I've had an amazing year, I seem to have felt there was nothing to blog about 🤔

A quick recap would sound like this:
February, I went to London
March, I went to New Zealand
April, I went to Florida
June, I made a decision not to drink alcohol for 6 months (which I've stuck to btw)
Sometime in the summer I found myself no longer eating meat
July, I went to London again
August, I started a certified coach course and got my old cheerleading team back
September, I went to Berlin
October, I celebrated Halloween as Wonder Woman (yes, that's as important as the rest as it was a dream come true .. kind of)
November, celebrated my birthday in London and registered for my VERY FIRST POLE COMPETITION(!!) in March next year. In November I also completed the certified coach course and launched my website and company Happy Habits, which I am extremely happy about!

Sometime around the launch of the website and booking the competition I got really sick and haven't been able to practice for almost three weeks. I am now very excited to FINALLY get back into pole tomorrow and keep working on my routine! Will keep you updated on the progress ✌🏽️

Have been enjoying being recovered from my injury and playing upside down games with these two lovely ladies!

There is nothing quite like turning your brain off for a few hours of training!

As if London wasn't amazing already, I found out yesterday they have a cat emporium! A cafe, where you sit down for a coffee and a snack and you are surrounded by a shitload of cats! You get to pet them and play with them as much as you want. I was in crazy cat lady heaven!

And if that wasn't enough heart melting in one day, Annie later took me to see her 8 week old kitten that she is taking home on Sunday! It was a day of pure joy.

Today, we are going to the Harry Potter tour and I am crazy excited!

After three weeks of being painfully unable to pole, I have had a stranger put needles in my shoulder and, now more than ever, I truly believe in magic! A little Taylor Swift and bam, I'm back in the game!

After having spent my three weeks "off" stretching a lot, I am now expecting to be better than ever!

Never underestimate the power of Taylor Swift!

I do not believe humans were built to live through -14 degrees! But as a person who chooses to see the good in everything I have spent today focusing on the amazing trip to New Zealand I've got planned for March! Only 60 days until I get to visit Hobbiton, I'm so excited I barely feel the cold anymore!

So this is me! I've decided, just like everyone else, that 2016 is my year! I've also decided, just like everyone else, that the life of little old me is interesting enough for the world to read about so I thought I'd give this blogging thing a try!

I start my days at the gym, proceed to the pole studio and end my days at home with my pretty little cat, whom I love oh so very much. Whenever I have a spare moment I watch Disney, read inspirational books and as often as I possibly can I travel. And all of this, I tend to do in a handstand.

In the spring of 2016, I am heading to London, New Zealand and Florida so I am quite excited to kick start this awesome year. On top of that I am more excited than I have ever been in my life about the adventure I'm planning with my buddy Phat M but more about that later.

Stay tuned for my exciting 2016!
