It is officially winter here in London now, its not far from minus degrees, which for me is not a big deal as I am used to -30. To stay warm I recommend a little faux fur, perfect jacket to switch from your classic coat (you have one right? It should be in either black, navy or dark grey). The fauxy can be styled with knitted sweater, jeans, scarfs and boots.
I do love a good suit. There are so many ways for you to style it. You can go classic with a white shirt, you can go cool with hoodie and sneakers, or you can go super sexy with a lace bralette or nothing under the suit jacket. I would probably go with a cool tee with a print or a lace cami under it. Depending on the occasion.
Pieces to style the suits with
Christine Centenera is one of my favourite style inspirations. She is the fashion director at Vogue Australia, she also consults with several designers, such as Kanye West, while keeping a busy schedule. She is know to wear new season pieces mixed with statement pieces she has worn in the past.
Can't believe that it's only a few days left of November. I have been running around all day, it has been crazy busy. A brand that I particularly like is RIXO London, they have super cool printed pieces such as wrap dresses, kimonos, midis, and skirts. Would style it with this Simon Miller bucket bag and Sam Edelman booties.
Pink is one of the trendiest colours for autumn, I love it especially on bags or super cute skirts like the cord one below. Would style it with grey knitted turtleneck sweater and Dr Martens boots. Make it look comfy and cool.
This multi color knit feels like a copy off a Stella McCartney one, I don't really like when brands copies designers, however this one from Zara is ridiculously cute! This will end up in my closet with the navy trousers with side stripes.
Also found some nice ones from Balenciaga and Topshop. Most of them are quite pricy, however I think it is ok to spend some extra cash on denim. You will wear them often and probably for a few years as they don't really go out of style.
The season for festivities is coming up and there are so many sparkly and fancy clothing items out there. I am not really into that kind of style and if you are the same I would like to share what I would do to feel dazzling during the festive season. I love an simple outfit and then add adding a cool accessory like jewellery, a bag or a pair of colorful heels. For jewellery I would probably go for one of the below earrings and then wear maybe a knitted sweater or even a tee with denim jeans.
