right now, I own three driver's licenses and they are all legal. so if I get "caught" b y a cop, I'll show my Swedish/international one and I'll probably will be let go with a warning, and if they just do like a check up I'll show them my Pennsylvanian one hah. it is extremely useful to get out of tickets!
so what is it like driving in the states? well there are some differences for example the speed limit. but what to keep in mind is that it it differs from state to state! so the state I live in, Pennsylvania, the speed limit is extremely low. for example on the high way you can like tops go 60 mph which equals 100 kmh... annoying, maybe that's why I have managed to get a ticket haha. the turning on red is an other thing, but that is seriously so smart and something we should enforce in Sweden!! it is sooooooooo nice skipping the red lights! an other things that annoys me is all the stop signs, they are literally EVERYWHERE and it is driving (hahahha driving, get it? we are talking about cars and driving hahaha) me CRAZY!!! they should put in some roundabout here and there and it would be much easier, but of course that also means that the Americans need to learn how to drive in one and trust med they do not! they have like yield signs or even worse stop signs in roundabouts, it is horrifying!
driving in a big city? well Pittsburgh isn't the biggest city and therefor I don't find that terrifying the only thing I resent driving here is the way they planned the roads. it is insane. Pittsburgh is known for its bridges, we have ,like 247 of them, and on one bridge it can be four lanes.. and let's say you are on the right-right lane and need to go the left-left lane, you have to do that within 400 meters and with tons of cars! not that easy... I have driven in Toronto, big city in Canada, and that went perfectly! I think, or at least when it comes to me, that you have a mental block that says it is gonna be hard.... 2, 3 or 4 lanes? doesn't matter actually, you get used to it
taking an Pennsylvanian driver's license was so easy it is scary how easily you can pass. their main focus was if you had the ability to parallel park,,,,
