If you ask me to pick one my favourite parfume, I would call Florabotanica-BALENCIAGA. It is absolutely stunning with all its notes of carnation, mint, rose and white amber.
As you may see my bottle is almost empty - proven method to estimate the degree of love heheh))
As you can see from the title, here I would like to share my fashion story. And, keeping in mind the fact, that I'm deeply inclined to analysis, it sounds like a good idea to bring together everything that relates to the subject.
For me it is quite interesting to get into background, especially when it comes to someone’s style and personal approach to fashion. And yes, I really enjoy learning about how style of different people has been developed through years, what were the main influencers and sources of inspiration, I find how a person looks is the reflection of his inner state. If you like the idea as well as me, please share your #fashionstory – I would love to read it!
So, as soon as I remember myself, I always love dressing up and in my early years I was obsessed with crazy bright, colorful and sparkling clothes, to the contrary to my mum preferences. She has always been into simple and laconic silhouettes, quality fabrics and calm colors. To tell the story short, in my junior school I was a girl with a short hair (I used to hate doing my hair and it was decided to cut them off) in black dress, white tights and with sequins-and-glitter dreams in the head.
When I opened to myself sewing (Oh my God!), that was a revolution. Even when I did not have a specific skills, I used to do that with great passion. Here I need to say, that in most cases my creative attempts were ended up with spoiled items.
When at school we had a sewing class, it was found out that I’m completely out of the process. I was absolutely restless and couldn’t be concentrated on one thing for more than 10 minutes. I was more on the side of imagination and ideas and, unfortunately, I was devoid of ability to sew nicely and neatly…that was not my cup of tea.
But it does not mean that I left the process, the old grandmother's sewing machine was still on the run and I still was full of new ideas.
A little bit later I’ve realized that I
need to reduce risks somehow might create not from scratch (i.e. piece of fabrics), but I can easily (and successfully) update already existing in my wardrobe stuff with some new detail. And this is what I’m still actively practicing.
When I began to get my first money, I was spending them all on *surprise-surprise* clothing. It was super fun times, filled with cheap ballerina flats, totally open mind and carefree attitude to life in general.
Being at my first years of University I began to go deeply into fashion, reading books and learning more about history, latest news from the industry, main places and faces, fabrics, design, style etc . In 3 years my shopping has become more serious and meaningful, life approach more responsible and wardrobe more organized and according to needs.
That's how my fashion journey looks like, folks!
I really hope you enjoy and don't forget to share your story, I would love to know it!
