Ingredients

1 cup spelt flour

1 teaspoon cinnamon

pinch pink salt

2 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon maca powder

1 cup almond milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 punnet blueberries

Toppings

Mulberries 

Strawberries 

Maple syrup 

Method

Mix all dry ingredients then combined almond milk, vanilla and blueberries.

Cook the pancakes in a pan on medium heat with coconut oil and flip them once golden. Enjoy xx

2 zucchinis
handful basil
10 almonds
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Pinch salt

Method
Blend together the basil, almonds, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and a dash of water.

Spiral your zucchini and then place all ingredients in a pan and heat until eating temperature. Enjoy x

3/4 cup almond milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons raw honey

Toppings
Dried mulberries
Buckinis
Chia seeds
Desiccated Coconut
Cinnamon
Raw honey

Method
In a pot place your oats, almond milk, cinnamon and raw honey on a low heat. Keep mixing for about 5-7 minutes, until the porridge is how you like.
Place all the toppings on the porridge. Enjoy xx

Method

The Smoothie

2 frozen bananas

1 cup almond milk

1 tablespoon maple syrup

1 tablespoon peanut butter

1 teaspoon cacao powder

The Toppings

crushed peanuts

maple syrup

cacao nibs

Melted Chocolate

1 teaspoon coconut oil, melted

2 teaspoon cacao powder

1 teaspoon maple syrup

Method

For the smoothie blend all the ingredients until smooth and pour into your bowl, then add on the toppings.

For the chocolate topping, melt the coconut oil then mix in the cacao powder and maple syrup and pour on top.

The gut is one of the many important functioning’s in the body and my research of the gut has made me aware that everything starts there. The first thing you should think about before starting a new healthy lifestyle is your gut. We need a healthy gut. You can achieve this by eating the correct wholesome foods.

If you have been feeling unwell (this can be physically, mentally or emotionally) you should be having a really good think and ask yourself some questions. Is your diet balanced? Are you getting enough sleep? Are you stress free? If not, then you need to give your gut some extra attention. Something to keep in mind is that your gut is the centre of your health and wellness ecosystem. That simply means its where everything starts.

Once you start focusing more on your gut and changing your diet then you will see the results. You will feel more energised and overall be feeling better in yourself. One major result that I notice on myself is that it has really improved my skin.

My last tip for you about having great gut health is really listen to your body and be in tune with how you are really feeling. There’s no need to ignore these signs because your body is always right when it’s trying to tell you something. Just know that it’s okay to give your body some extra loving. It's never too late to start improving your gut health.

Ingredients

15 medjool dates, pitted

3 tablespoons cacao nibs

2 tablespoons organic peanut butter

1 cup almonds

1 teaspoon pink salt

3/4 coconut oil, melted

Method

Blend all ingredients together in a food processer until it becomes a sticky mixture.

Roll mixture into medium size balls and place in the fridge to set for 1 hour.

Keep these balls in the fridge.
