Last stop on the excursion:

The movie "The Beach" made the island popular - a movie I've never seen but Leonardo DiCaprio is in it, and it should be worth it to watch it, according to the guides and the people who'd seen it.
It's definitely worth a visit - lots of nice pictures to get here (especially on the beach)
AND pictures including me goofing around in a tree..

Have a look at the pictures beneath and come visit me in Thailand!

Saturday Excursion with Thomas Cook NE (Spies, Tjäreborg & Ving) is definitely to recommend!
A big thanks to the amazing guides - and all of my nice friends from the team for making it a very nice trip.

Even if you want to visit the islands on your own I would definitely recommend it, it was so amazing. Such nice paradise islands!!

Moving on to next island on our excursion:
"Monkey Island"
This was a very quick stop just to watch the monkeys and get some nice shots with the camera I guess, but wow which creatures! Someone threw pineapple to them - so now I've seen monkeys jumping in the water from cliffs to get pineapple as well. Amazing creatures!

Viking Cave:
It's said that the vikings have been here. With paintings on the eastern southern walls of the cave of different boats, including what looks like a Scandinavian "Drakkar". Unfortunately we didn't get to go inside, they simply didn't allow new vikings in there ;)

Have a look at some of the nice pictures beneath:

As said earlier Saturday was a day off with an excursion - and it was fabulous!
It was amazing to discover a bit more of Thailands beautiful islands and to get a bit away from Kamala.
AND! Boat trips the whole day without any puke?! (Only doped on 3 seasick-pills)
So what can I tell about the trip? Way too much - so you'll get Bamboo Island today:
Bamboo Island was just amazing, really peaceful and just the sound of waves on the "non-tourist" side I discovered on my own. Such nice beaches and so nice just to relax and think about how great life is..

Have a look at the pictures beneath - and book your tickets to discover it yourself!

Single or not, it probably is to prefer to be in a relationship, isn’t it?
I quite love both my work and the life abroad and that’s very difficult to live (in my opinion) with someone else..
But according to my mother it’s a great opportunity for me (I guess?!)
This is why you normally don’t have your parents on Facebook. Look what I got tagged in on the picture..
(It’s in Danish - I know, but I think you get the point?)
So thanks mom, I guess I can now declare myself Super Single (with a “curling-mother”) since you’re trying to get me to an exotic place only for singles in a TV-programme where it’s about partying..

What's a Teen Host? - and what do you do?

Well.. Quite simple actually.
A Teen Host for Thomas Cook Northern Europe (Spies,Tjäreborg & Ving) is a host which has the responsibility for all of the 8-15 year-olds in a hotel/resort (for my part it's Sunwing). This means that you're having all of the activities during the days you work and make sure that especially the "teenagers" have an awesome time during their holiday.

Do I love it?
YES! It's absolutely amazing!!!
No days are the same, everyday is a new opportunity to be young and cool, you can really get to know some teens and create some special bonds together with them in such a small amount of time.
When I look back on my season in Side, Turkey I remember so many of "my teens" and I remember a whole season full of funny and happy times - which makes the job even harder, because every week you will have to say goodbye and start over again. This is guidelife - a short amount of time, to create the best weeks of the year!
It's like living in a "happy-bubble" the whole year around, it's a great way to make you feel like you're doing a difference, gives you such a boost, and it makes you loving the time of your life.

SO YES IT'S COOL!
- and you know what?
Right now you can apply for the same job on www.careers.thomascook.com

I'm not really sure about all this blogging, why should my life be more "exciting" than everyone else's?

Blogging for me is about reaching the people which wants to know a bit more about everything, an interesting place where you can get to know someone a bit more than just the usual Instagram-picture with a short caption or just a place where I can leave my thoughts of the day.

I've been inspired by colleagues in guidelife and following some blogs as well which made me think about is as opportunity for me too. To leave the pictures from the nice trip we had on a day off, but maybe (hopefully?) also to inspire others to "dare" to just get out in living a bit more like you want to in stead of just watching the life pass by..

So is my life more interesting than yours?
I really don't know, but do you live in Thailand and work with happy guests the next 5 months?
- here's my start of the "blogging-life".
