My friend and I decided to dedicate the second day to see Rome's famous fountains and the Spanish Steps. We woke up around 9 am and started our moring with a good coffee in our hotel, then we started walking to Fontana Di Trevi, which is rome's most famous fountain (Trevi Fountain). The weather was perfect, it was around 25 degrees all day, the city was full of tourists and locals who enjoy the beautiful weather. When we got to Trevi Fountain we were surprised by the amount of people who were trying to get as close as possible to the fountain and take pictures and boomerangs of themselves throwing a coin to the fountain to make a wish. After a few minutes of trying to get near the fountain, we finally made it and took a few pictures of it. Then we continued to the Magnum shop which is less than a 2 minutes walk from the fountain, and got ourselves two delicious magnums.
After that we continued walking to the Spanish Steps and to other fountains in the area. Later we walked to Hard Rock Cafe and i ordered my favorite veggie burger.
It was such a beautiful day, everything went perfectly- the weather was perfect, the food was good, we walked a lot and saw many parts of the city and didn't get lost at any part. 😂

We landed in rome at 10:30 in the morning after a two and a half hours flight. We had our hotel driver waiting for us in the airport, which made us feel like princesses 😄 and definetly made a good opening to our trip. It was a 40 min drive from the Fumicino airport to our hotel locted in the Vatican City. We took a short bath when we arrived to the hotel, quickly put on some clothes and went to explore Rome. First, we walked to Cola Di Rienzo street for some shopping and then continued walking in the Vatican Area. We shared pizza and pasta in a gorgeous italian restaurant (unfortunatly i was too hungry to take a picture of it) and later ate the most delicious ice cream on our way back to the hotel.

T shirt MISSY EMPIRE / leather jacket PIMKIE / bag PARFOIS

Today was a very cold day, it rained 90 percent of the time and it almost snowed! I'm not sure wether i like it when its that cold or not. Anyway, my mom and I didn't let the cold weather affect us, we put on a few layers and went out to explore the city! first we started our morning with our favorite cafe restaurant next to our hotel (I can't remember its name 😂), then we walked around Grav Via and Puerta del Sol, entered some beautiful antique shops and did a little shopping in which i found my new love! A gorgoues colorful bag ( the one in the pictures above) from a shop called PARFOIS. This bag is definitely going to be my new obsession! After we strolled around the Gran Via and Puerta del Sol area, we continued walking to Plaza de Cibeles which is one of Madrid's squares, famous for it's prominent palace- the Cybele Palace.
Madrid is such a vibrant and colorful city, I'm enjoying every moment here and I don't want this trip to be over. We have 3 days left here and I'm planning to see as much of this city as i can. Now i'm going to sleep to save energy for tomorrow, Good night Xxx

Yesterday my mom and I landed in Madrid. I've never been to Madrid before, unlike my mom whos been here two times already. I totally understand why my mom keeps coming back to this city, I havent seen much of it yet but from what i saw this city is absolutely beautiful. There's something about spain that makes me fall in love with every city in it, maybe it's the Spanish language that gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it. I can't wait to explore the city more and enjoy what it has to offer and hopefully i'll find vegeterian food because from what i have seen most of the restaurantes only have meat and calamares which i don't eat since im vegetarian, so good luck for me😂.
