Are you guys getting tired of my 500 waterfalls yet? No? okay, all good here is another one! This is Fairy falls and it's located between Auckland CBD and Piha. It takes you 35 min down and maybe 40 min up. I've hurt my foot earlier that week and was limping behind Jemma like an old 80-year-old hahaha. It was a cute fall and a good little stop.

New years eve, not a lot of sleep or food but plenty of alcohol. We had a few friends over for food and drinks. We watched the fireworks from the sky tower (disappointment) and had new years kisses. Mine was Jemma of course haha. Had a really nice and relaxed evening. Can't believe this year is over...

My new years kiss <3

Also a little Skype session the next morning with mum. Seeing the fireworks in Sweden when they had their new years!

On our way home we drove past Rainbow Falls. Lovely end on our trip and last day of the year! I also added a map so you guys can see exactly where I am! Cool right? I'm a genius :)

We woke up in a crowded and sweaty rental car... We drove away from out illegal and uncomfortable parking/camping around 6 in the morning. Our first stop was Haruru falls:

Mount Bledisloe:

After a quick look at the waterfall we continued into town to have some breakfast .

Then we explored Pahia for a bit before we got in the car that took us home to Auckland

30/12 We drove pass Whangarei falls on our way to the bay of islands. The water was a bit cold when we had a little swim. Very refreshing after sitting in a car for a few hours. Super easy walk there so no need for hiking boots.

30/12 The very last day of this year. This has been an emotional year, lived in England with my boyfriend the first 6 months. Went to the Philippines, went to a festival, broke up with my first boyfriend and moved home to Sweden. Took care of my mum and my broken hear for 5 months. Also moved from my family home to a new apartment. Work my last days at my cashier job that I've had on and off for the last 3 years. A sad moment that I no longer have something to fall back on. I was a bit sad in Sweden and decided to move to New Zealand. Had 2 weeks of partying like crazy. Then I got a tax number, a car, a job, a place to live and so on. The last month and a half have been crazy but amazing. I intend to stay here the year out and see what NZ has in store for me.

The pictures down below are on our way to bay of islands.
