Today I felt like I was over the moon and I had to ask Alice every other minute to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. Of course she said no but still I need to ask you guys to make sure this day really happened.
We had planned to both visit the spa for massage and to go on a tour on one of the old Roman baths here in Bath. But we changed the plans and decided to just take the massage and then go back to our room and save money for the ride home.
So, this morning when we had woken up we ate some breakfast here at the hotel and then we headed for the massage in one of Bath’s new spas.
The spa was beautiful and the bathrobes they lent us were so fluffy that you nearly drowned in them. Anyway, when we arrived there we paid for the massage and then we got escorted to a room where they gave us the message.
The room was only lighted up with a few candles and the air around was sultry and opened up my pores because I was sweating, we also weren’t the only customers in the room. At first we didn’t care so much about it and we thought it was just a normal person, but God how wrong we were.
So the person we thought was an ordinary person, was not just any person, it was THE person. It was the person who set her mark in the film history by giving a phenomenal performance as Rose DeVitt Bukater in the movie Titanic. It was Kate Winslet.
It really was Kate Winslet who was lying on one of the massage tables and asked us to join her on her visit to one of the old Roman Baths here in Bath, and only a fool would say no to that.
Except for that I was all star struck and had to pinch myself every other minute to see if I wasn't drunk or anything. I actually enjoyed the tour at the Roman Bath even more than I believed I would. And it wasn't only because of the fact that the building and the whole spa idea had lived for so long that made me like it so much, it was also because of the beautiful architecture that made me like the Roman Baths even more than I thought I would.
Later that day when me and Alice sat down for dinner I felt reality creep back and I ask myself if this day really happened or was I just so exhausted that I had been passed out for a whole day? And that question is too hard to answer by myself.
So, please guys can you tell me if I was dreaming or not?
