Hello folks! yes, I am still alive.
Before I came to England, my expectations and hopes were too high about my one month stay here. To be honest, I don't even know what I was looking forward too, because in reality; I am just staying in bed watching Netflix after work. I have done some shopping throughout my stay here, but not as much as I expected.
I am described as the most busiest person at home, my schedule is always full for either meeting up with friends, helping someone out, driving my family or friends around. When I am here, I don't need to care about anyone other than myself, and I am absolutely not complaining. I love to "not doing anything".
Today was one of those days where I needed my best friend. Dyna, my best friend of 15 years, live in Winchester and we decided to meet up in London together. We have never been here at the same time, and could not think of any better timing for this opportunity where we can hang out together in one of my favorite cities! We haven't seen each other since September, so I was beyond stoked when I saw her running towards me at Victoria Station. We did some eating, shopping and sightseeing (Dyna was dying to see Tower Bridge, and finally got her wish fulfilled!!!)
I am going to stay over at Dyna's place for the weekend in Winchester, and will update you more later.
A few weeks has flewn by and here I am sitting in the living room of a typical English house in Crawley. I landed at Gatwick Airport on Monday and has been here since. The nearest mall in the area is just 6 minutes away by walking, so I honestly have been at the mall every day. One of my "favorite" stores in England is Primark. I packed VERY light, so I could do some shopping here and bought pyjamas, slippers and basically everything I need for a little amount of money. In Crawley there is also New Look and Top Shop but I am miss Zara. But I am honestly not complaining one bit for this great opportunity to live her in Crawley for a month.
My roomies and I have decided to head into London for the Oxford Street Christmas lights, where Oxford street will turn into a traffic-free playground. I am excited to get to experience new things here in England! If you have any suggestions on where I can go, and what I can do, please leave a suggestions on the comments!
Bonjour, me amies!
Yesterday was my last day working in the air, for now. In about two and a half weeks I am off to London for work together with three other colleges. I am very excited for what is coming up! I have been thinking about packing, but I am truly the best at procrastinating, and will end up packing 1-2 days before I leave...
My best friend, Dyna, is currently studying in England, and therefore I am quite excited to meet up with her too! Hopefully my cousins are visiting me as well. It is going to be a fun month in England and visit other parts where I have not been before such as Brighton for instance! I will update you guys more when the time comes <3
I hope you had/have a wonderful day!
Hello from Bodø!
I checked in a few hours ago after a short day at work. This is my first time here in Bodø, and it is absolutely captivating. The view is beautiful and this city in North of Norway is also known for Northern lights, which I yet have not experienced up here!
This is where I stay tonight, isn't the wall beautiful?! I am currently laying in bed, and am so stuffed after devouring my margarita pizza. It is going to be an early night on me, I only slept 3 hours last night..
Good Night x L
Second vlog is FINALLY out on my YouTube channel, and is awaiting for you guys to watch! There are always days that are more exciting than others, and not being stuck in a hotel room because my lazy bum will not move a muscle. But I like to show you what I have been up to, and it is more personal when I feel like I can talk rather than to write about my whereabouts and what I have been up to in a blogpost.
I hope you are enjoying my vlogs so far, the third one is about to be edited and uploaded!
Fall is finally here, the days are colder, nights are shorter and even darker! It is finally the time of the year where you can layer clothes, wear your beanies, scarf and rock everything that falls into the "FALL"-category.
I had a date together with my little gem (Lena) today, grabbed some vegan burritos from Burrito Project before we took a few shots of todays outfit. The grey beanie from Zara is just a must have in the wardrobe this fall and is so easy to put on lazy days or bad hair days!
Trying out a new way of "blogging", which is VLOGGING! I watch vlogs every single day, especially vlogs from ITSJUDYSLIFE and have been watching since they first got married! I thought this might be a fun way of showing friends, family and readers what I actually do on my days on and off work. My editing skills are not the best, but hopefully I will improve vlogs after vlogs.
I hope you all have been good, and have a nice summer!
