Hi! Last weekend I went to Death Valley with some of the exchange students from EF, and it was so much fun. We left on Friday afternoon to go to Vegas. In Vegas we decided to eat at Olive Garden, which is a Italian restaurant here in the United States. I might not have tasted exactly like Italian food, but it was really delicious and especially after all the typical American food that I`m always eating here... After we were done eating we decided to go to Walmart to buy some snacks for the next day. When were done with that we finally decided to go to the other IEC house, where we were going to spend the night.
On Saturday we left early in the morning, at 6:30, and started to head towards Death Valley. On the way to Death Valley we stopped at Subway and Starbucks to get something to eat, since there isn`t that many places to eat in Death Valley. After that we sat in the cars for probably 2 hours before we arrived to the first sightseeing. That day we went to six different sights. Later that night we went to the hotel were we were going to sleep. By that time, it was probably around 9.00 am and we were all really tired. So we just went down to Denny ´s that were at the hotel.
Last day! We woke up at 6:3o pm and because of the time difference it was really at 5:30 pm. Me, Lisa O, Lisa B and Ingvild all lived in the same room so went and ate breakfast together. We wanted to go to Denny ´s but it was all full, so we decided to go Subway instead.
We left the hotel around 7:30 pm to go to Death Valley to see more sights. This was probably the day that we did the most. We went on hikes, to a souvenir shop, went to "salt rocks", the lowest point in Nevada (it was below sea level) and a lot more.
