Hi! Yesterday (Saturday) was prom day, and since me and most of me exchange student friends didn ´t have a prom date decided to do something together. So me and Milena went to the Rez in the morning and tanned. Then when we got back to the house I took a shower and started to get ready. Macy fixed my hair and then Abby did my make up. After that my hostmum drove me, Panisa and Lisa to Milena ´s house. At Milena ´s we ate dinner and took pictures, and then we went to prom. At prom most people just danced but then at 10 o ´clock they announced who was the prom queen and prom king from 11 th and 12 th grade. It felt like a typical Mean Girls moment to watch that, so it was really cool.

Hi! Hope you are all doing alright. This weekend in Moapa Valley was the annual fair, which basically is the only "big" thing that happens in this small town. It was open from Wednesday to Sunday, so there was a lot of people here.

Hi! As usual, here is some pictures from the past week. Besides being in school I have also been competing at the track meet here in Moapa. Then on Friday I meet up with a friend here and we went to Inside Scoop for dinner and then to Mesquite. In Mesquite we went bowling, we were both really terrible players... After that we went to Walmart to buy Patricia a birthday gift forget surprise party. On Saturday I fixed with Patricia's birthday gift and then at 7 I went to her house. She got so surprised!

Then we are some food and cake. We wanted to do something fun after that so we all went buy the lake in Logandale and just hung out.

Today (Sunday) there is no church since they have general conference so so far I have only FaceTimed with my family in Sweden.

Hi! Here comes a summary of what I have done during Spring Break.

Monday

On Monday I went to the mall with my hostmum, Kody and Macy. I ended up buying three t-shirts, a black dress and a pair of shorts. When we got home, me and Macy went to Tiffany ´s and bought some shaved ice.

Tuesday

On Tuesday I was suppose to go to Zion National Park with Patricia and her hostsister Katy, but because of the windy weather we ended up going to the movies instead. Before we went to the movies we also went to a art gallery and a museum.

After that we went to Del Taco to buy something to eat, and then it was finally time to go the movies. We watched 10 Clearfield Street. It was actually quite good.

Wednesday

On Wednesday some of their cousins from Idaho was here (Lexi and Dixie). Their parents were in St George so we decided to go there, first thing in the morning. After the 1 hour drive, we were finally in St George. We first went to the tempel and the visiting center. In the Visting Center I found The Book Of Mormon in Swedish so Macy and Abby told me their favorite scripture and I then read it in Swedish, which they thought sounded so funny.

After that we also went to the Tembernacle to see the church that Brigham Young established. Then we went to Brigham Youngs house. When we were done with the tour, we then decided to go to Chicken File´to eat. That turned out to not be a good idea... Because as soon as we came home Abby, Macy, Brody, Kody and my hostmum got sick from food poising.

Thursday

I went to Milena ´s house and we basically just had a tv-show marathon were we watched Friends all day long. That ´s basically all we did that day.

Friday

On Friday we went to run some errands in Overton (another town in Moapa Valley). Then me and Macy mown the lawn which literally took us two hours. When we were finally done with that, I went with Macy and her friends to the mountains by the lake with the a fourwheeler and a jeep. Then we all got hungry so we decided to go to Carly ´s to eat some pizza. While we were eating Garett texted us and said that we could come over for some birthday cake at his house. So we came to his house and then we also watched a movie.

Saturday

My hostdad thought that we should do something fun, since it was basically the last day of spring break. So we decided to go to Vegas to watch the new Batman VS Superman movie. The movie was actually really good and the movie theatre was so cool. When we were watching the movie, the chairs started to shake so it felt like you were in the movie. All thought, I honestly don ´t know how many times me and Macy jumped up in fear because we were not prepared.

After the movie we went to the gun store so that I could get one of my birthday presents - a gun shirt. It was also cool to see how a gunstore looks like since we don ´t have them in Sweden. Then we also went to Gravady which is a big place where they have all kind of trampolins and other gymnastic tools.

Hugs from America <3

Hi! Last weekend I went to Death Valley with some of the exchange students from EF, and it was so much fun. We left on Friday afternoon to go to Vegas. In Vegas we decided to eat at Olive Garden, which is a Italian restaurant here in the United States. I might not have tasted exactly like Italian food, but it was really delicious and especially after all the typical American food that I`m always eating here... After we were done eating we decided to go to Walmart to buy some snacks for the next day. When were done with that we finally decided to go to the other IEC house, where we were going to spend the night.

Saturday

On Saturday we left early in the morning, at 6:30, and started to head towards Death Valley. On the way to Death Valley we stopped at Subway and Starbucks to get something to eat, since there isn`t that many places to eat in Death Valley. After that we sat in the cars for probably 2 hours before we arrived to the first sightseeing. That day we went to six different sights. Later that night we went to the hotel were we were going to sleep. By that time, it was probably around 9.00 am and we were all really tired. So we just went down to Denny ´s that were at the hotel.

Sunday

Last day! We woke up at 6:3o pm and because of the time difference it was really at 5:30 pm. Me, Lisa O, Lisa B and Ingvild all lived in the same room so went and ate breakfast together. We wanted to go to Denny ´s but it was all full, so we decided to go Subway instead.

We left the hotel around 7:30 pm to go to Death Valley to see more sights. This was probably the day that we did the most. We went on hikes, to a souvenir shop, went to "salt rocks", the lowest point in Nevada (it was below sea level) and a lot more.

Hugs from the Swede in America!

Hi! From Friday to Saturday I was on something called Trek, the Trek is in memory for the pioneers that walked from Illinois to Utah for establishing a new life there. So what we basically did was the same thing as they did. We walked with an old hand cart with a "family" that is choose randomly. We started the walk from the Stake Center to a place in Overton where we were going to sleep. When we arrived at the place where we were going to sleep we all got something to eat. After that most people went to the area where they were going to sleep.

Next morning we woke up at 7 o´clock to eat breakfast, After that it was time for devotional and someone was also going to come to hold a speech. Then we started the walk again around 8. Since this was more hot outside this day we took a lot of breaks. At each breaks we got a note of a challenge that we were going to d0. The first note we got told us that our mom had gotten hurt and we therefore needed to tie bandages around her hands. Another one was that we had to go to the stake president and from him we received a bag of candy.

At the very end of the Trek was the Women´s race. All the women`s had to walk up with a group of other women´s with a handcart to the top of a hill. This was in memory of all the women`s huspends that died during the Trek. After that we started to walk again. Around 3 o´clock we arrived to the park, In the park the church had put up food for everyone. So we all ate lunch together and then it was time to go home.

Here is a picture of when we are all waiting for getting sign on a handcart with a family.

My handcart family. Abby (my hostsister), me, Plenq, Kessa, Luke, Garett (in the background), Mr & Mrs Reed

Some family pictures from the end of the race where we were all really tired.

This is where all the girls slept. On the pictures you can also see the buckets that everyone had to carry their stuff.

I hope you all had a good weekend too! Hugs <3

Hi! I'm in Utah, Brian Head with EF. So today we woke up at 6:30 and went down to eat breakfast. On the way to the ski slopes I met another exchange student from Sweden that I talked with. We were a big group of people that all skied together and it was so much fun. Here is some pictures!
