My mom is here visiting from Thailand so we decided to drive to Napa to try out some wineries. Even though it rained we still had a blast!

I'm one of those people who treat my library card like gold, I check out a new book almost every week. This week I'm trying out a new author, Carole Radiwill and so far so good! The writing style is fun and light but the book is about a new widow and how she deals with life after her husband passes which makes the book really interesting to read.

W and I haven't gone out much this winter and spring as both of our schedules are pretty hectic but I've grown to like it more this way because the time we do spend together in social settings are so much more valued. It's nice to have a partner who you know is 100% supportive of you all the time and as much as I set up goals for myself it feels a thousend times more fun to accomplish them when you have a team mate to share your happiness with :)

Last weekend i went to a new hair salon to get my hair trimmed and walked out with a whole new hair due..It was terrible, my har was cut in super short layers with bangs! I never asked for layers or bangs- just a trim..! I was so upset I ended up getting clip-in extensions from Luxy Hair. It litterary saved my life! The hair was gourgus and I got so many hair clips I ended up trimming some of them to my shoulder length hair to fill in the short layers and the horrible bangs. I did however wear the full set of extensions when I was out this weekend and I really like the look of long full hair but I don't like to wear "fake" stuff that you can tell is fake so I'm probably only gonna wear the long extensions when I'm out and about. But hopefully my real hair will grow out to the summer so I dont have to wear any extensions at all!

This week my days have been pretty open so every morning has looked a little bit different for me; some days I've gone to Starbucks other days I've gone to on a power walk with Tyger before going to the library. Today I stopped at Coupa Cafe, downtown Palo Alto- it's one of my favorite coffee shops around here, they make mean Chi teas! I'm going to stay here for a couple of hours to study for my marketing class.

A couple of weeks ago I started Western Governors University (WGU), all the classes are online and compantancy based which means that when you know the material well enough you take a assesment and if you pass then you basically finsh the course. I think it's a great concept beacuse it allows you to finsh your degree as fast (or slow as you want) it workes if you have enough time on your hands to study. Also the tuition is a fixed amount every semester no matter how many courses you manage to finsh. Right now I'm working on my Buisness Law class and feel a little bit stuck..it's a super interesting class but the assesment contains of a 104 questions and they are all "cases" that you have to read though. I'm devoting today and all day tomorrow to study and the hopefully I can take and pass the exam on thursday.

At 6am this morning I woke up by my dog Tyger taking over my side of the bed, usually I'll have him sleep against the wall or by our feet but lately he likes to sneak in between me and my boyfriend in the middle of the night lol. He was stretching out so much and taking over my pillow that I babrley had any space. I still love him tho haha!
