I hiked up to the restaurant Ascher that's built into the mountain. Rösti is there specialty food, something that everyone gets when they hike all the way up, it was sooo yummy definitely worth the hike up.

Started my job today, can't believe that this is my view for the next few months! It's so stunning and the restaurant still smells like fresh new wood! Still lots of snow up here but the team is having high hopes it melts soon.

Stepped foot in Germany today!!!! As you can see in the picture I had to try one of Germanys famous pretzels 😍😍 Can't go to Germany and not have one, by the way it was sooo delicious! And everything is sooo much cheaper here then in Switzerland... definitely did a little bit of shopping, will come back for more soon. Hopefully with my great tour guide I had today, Stephanie.

Well day one in Mallorca was amazinggggg.😍😍 It was smoking hot which was pretty sweet to be able to take out my flip flops and the tank tops. If any of you know me well you'll know I burn easy well shocking guess who got a sunburn ..... yup sure did. Because apparently sunscreen wasn't needed but that's okay I'm really loving the heat. Mallorca is a small island outside of Spain for those of you who aren't familiar with the area, there's a ton of traffic but I fell in love with the buildings here. The architecture is completely different from a lot of other countries especially Canada which I found very interesting to look at. We visited the "Castillo de Bellver" during our tour of the city, which was this huge vintage castle honestly such a great experience to be able to see. We also took a long walk though the downtown, there were multiple shops, cafes and food options which is pretty normal but there was this one tree, seemed to be very old but unique.

Today me and grandma traveled around Weinfelden, Switzerland. It means wine field ..... I didn't see any wine though haha.🍷 This town is where most my moms side of the family live. It was sooo amazing to see the normal everyday life of a Swiss person, there are a few differences of Canadians. The house that we are standing in front of is the family tree house. My great grandpa made it 😍😍 ITS STUNNING! So neat!

In Switzerland today I visited my hometown Appenzell. Fell soooo in love 😍. You can see the mountains so well and all alps from the town Center and it's absolutely gorgeous! I also hiked up to my job Seealpsee Forelle, the walk was about 30 mins but was extremely steep but the view is definitely worth the hike.

So if you like having all 4 seasons in one day... Iceland is the place for you! Jokes on me still haven't gotten used to all this wind. But all the views are so stunning and worth the struggle through the wind. The Geysir geothermal area where the most active hot spring Strokkur spouting steaming water up to 30 meters into the air every 8 minutes was defiantly my favorite part of the adventure. It was such a cool thing to see like when to get to see steaming hot water shot into the air from the ground. After that we went to the Golden waterfall which was absolutely stunning. It's actually called Gullfoss or the “Golden Falls“ it is located in the glacial river Hvítá. The water plummets in two steps down into the 32 meters deep crevice. Such a great view and very special. We ended the day at the thermal natural hot spring which was very relaxing and very much needed after all that cold and wind Plus it makes your skin super soft and my muscles needed a break from all that walking and hiking. There was a lake full of glacier water right beside the hot pools that Alisha and I decided it be a great idea to jump in, defiantly thought I got hypothermia but such a great experience and so much fun. Also met so many amazing people from all over the world. So happy I got the chance to experience these wonderful places in iceland. Till next time.

Day one in Iceland was absolutely amazing. I can't help but notice the scenery is completely different then what I'm used to. The houses stand out especially, it's like they set a vintage look for the town I don't even know but I really quite enjoy it. The weather definitely not my favourite lots of strong wind and a bit of snow here and there but that's okay I just have to get used to it for the next few days. In the picture above was my absolute favourite part of my tour I had today! And yes I made the rock castle.... takes longer then you think! I Just loved how the rocks, blue water, mountains in the back and the big white clouds just make it look so real. And with the wind just made it feel like everything was off my chest and was just me and the scenery. Anyways, Hope you like it as much as i did!
