The year is coming to an end and so posts with names such as 'new year, new me' become viral. Usually I'm not much of a fan of telling people my hopes for the next year but I thought I'd tell you anyway. And before you ask- yes I am writing this list because I think it looks really fancy, no this isn't the only post I'll be writing because I think it looks fancy ;)
1. Try new things- I've made myself promise this for a few years now and although it might be a bit cliche, the reminder that to know something's results you've had to try it is comforting and I personally experience like I'm more brave.
2. Live more in the moment- As a person I'm quite sentimental, always looking back at photos and remembering what used to be and not giving much thought to what is. I also tend to over think each moment with thoughts like 'is this really ok?' 'Is it really smart doing this?' I don't want to be over analyzing anymore so I'm going to enjoy life more.
3. Do more for the global goals- This just recently got added to my list. If you don't know what The Global Goals are you should check out this video by Tanya Burr who recently has been working a lot with spreading the word. She explains exactly what The Global Goals are and what you can do spread the word. I care about so many of the different goals but the most important one for me is number 5, gender equality. I think I might write a post about that specifically another time. http://youtu.be/DT3wZp-V2gI
And that's it. No more pressure about making promises about 'eating healthier' (because I know how much I love chocolate, pizza, hamburgers and so on) or 'start caring about fashion more (which would be so much easier if I actually had money so I could buy whatever I wanted :'D)
What are you're goals for 2016 and what are you looking forward to the most? Leave a comment and tell me all about it
