Make sure your desk is nice and tidy - with a good working environment you'll be more inspired to do work and you'll feel more structured and organised too.
Keep some of your favourite book at your desk - this is great if you need a short break, browse through a book for inspiration. I absolutely love "coffee table books", and a few of my favourites at the moment are "How to be Parisian", Eirin Krisitansen's "Miss Independent", "All in Good Taste" from Kate Spade and Alexa Chung's "It"
Alway have a notebook at hand (both at home and on the go) - this is so important, you never know when you'll be inspired, and you might not always remember it when you're sitting in front of the computer. I always have a little notepad in my bag, although I sometimes use 'Notes' on my phone, I definitely prefer to write things down the old fashion way!
Light your favourite scented candle for a calming atmosphere - my favourite at the moment is 'The Ritual of Happy Buddha', which takes me straight back to our holiday in Portugal.
Make a cup of tea and make sure you have some healthy snack around before sitting down, that way you won't have an excuse to get up after 10 minutes!
