Make sure your desk is nice and tidy - with a good working environment you'll be more inspired to do work and you'll feel more structured and organised too.

Keep some of your favourite book at your desk - this is great if you need a short break, browse through a book for inspiration. I absolutely love "coffee table books", and a few of my favourites at the moment are "How to be Parisian", Eirin Krisitansen's "Miss Independent", "All in Good Taste" from Kate Spade and Alexa Chung's "It"

Alway have a notebook at hand (both at home and on the go) - this is so important, you never know when you'll be inspired, and you might not always remember it when you're sitting in front of the computer. I always have a little notepad in my bag, although I sometimes use 'Notes' on my phone, I definitely prefer to write things down the old fashion way!

Light your favourite scented candle for a calming atmosphere - my favourite at the moment is 'The Ritual of Happy Buddha', which takes me straight back to our holiday in Portugal.

Make a cup of tea and make sure you have some healthy snack around before sitting down, that way you won't have an excuse to get up after 10 minutes!

The juice bar Crussh first introduced me to the concept of juicing, when I was randomly handed a taster of one of their delicious juices last year. Being every retailers dream, this made me come back again and again for this juice, until I finally decided to take matters into my own hands - I bought a juicer.

I have to say, I'm probably not the most creative person when it comes to recipes, I will usually find a few favourites and stick to them. But I have 'created'a few great juices that I could easily drink every day, you should definitely try them.

As Christmas is fast approaching, I thought I would share some of the things on top of my wish list at the moment - when it comes to clothes, jewelry and around the house.

Trousers from Kate Spade, Diemme grey boots, Georg Jensen candle holders, leather jacket from All Saints, Tiffany & Co. ceramic cups, Pernille Croydon ring and table and chairs set for the garden from Skagerak.

Although I'm lucky if I have time to put make-up on in the morning these days, if I'm doing something or getting dressed up, I do like to spend some time on my make-up. I like my make-up to look natural, and I'm weak for products giving some extra glow - especially now in the winter months. Therefore I thought I would share some of my favourite products with you (alongside my favourite photos of Kate Moss by Mario Testino).

  • Strobe Cream Hydratant Luminex from Mac: The perfect highlighter
  • Soleil Tan de Chanel: Giving your skin the perfect sun kissed look
  • Hoola by Benefit bronzer: I've had the same box for over a year now, using it every day, so it will last forever
  • Mac Mineralize Moisture Foundation: I have finally found a foundation that doesn't make your skin look dry or patchy, and although I would only use this for nights out or other special occasions, it would be great as an every day foundation too!
  • The Bronze Palette from Kylie Cosmetics: Best eyeshadow I've used in a long time, they don't drizzle at all when putting them on and if you're feeling experimental they mix well together as well!
  • Kylie Cosmetics black Eyeliner: Super easy to apply and keeps throughout the day
  • Marvelous Moxie from Bare Minerals lipgloss (colour Rebel): I was accidentally introduced to this lipgloss from the make-up artist for my wedding, as I had completely forgot to get one. I bought one for the day, so I could re-apply when needed, and it's been a favourite ever since!

I love the light this time of year, just before the sun is setting! But you have to be quick, 5 minutes after I these photos were taken it was pitch black outside. Although I don't like the fact that the days are getting shorter, it also means that Christmas is coming, and I can't wait! Next week we're off to the Canary Islands for a mini break, and although I'm very excited about getting some summer dresses out again, I am loving being able to wear winter coats again.

My coat is and old favourite from Zara and my jumper is from Happy Wifey Oslo (by far the most comfortable jumper in my wardrobe!)

I have never really been a big fan of scented candles, but recently I have found a few that I actually quite like. I think the trick is to not go for the cheap supermarket ones, as the scent can feel quite sickly after a little while. With the right scent, these candles are really relaxing and cosy - here's a few of my favourites.
Rituals - The Ritual of Happy Buddha: I was first introduced to this scent in Portugal, where the toiletries are all from this series. When getting the candle I was originally looking for the shampoo and conditioner, but apparently they don't sell them, so I decided to go for the candle instead. Just walking by this candle takes me straight back to the Algarve!
White Company - Seychelles: I actually have quite a few products from the Seychelles range from The White Company. I first came across it a few weeks after coming back from the Maldives, and it just reminded me so much about it. So again, I love the scent cause of what it reminds me off - it's advertised as the lovely breeze of an Indian Ocean, and I definitely agree.

Skandinavisk: These candles are all on my wish list for Christmas! Ro/tranquility is definitely my favourite scent, Nordlys comes in such a pretty pot and who doesn't like the smell of Christmas (Jul). The design of these candles are so cute as well!

Do you have a favourite scented candle that you would recommend?

I know I've mentioned it before, but every time I'm in London now, I have to stop by Ole & Steen. This is what came home with me the other day, it's just like a little piece of Scandinavia in the middle of London :)

Yesterday, Oskar and I spent the day in London. Autumn is definitely here, and for once I'm actually glad. I have been looking forward to getting my knits and coats out, and yesterday was the first time it was cold enough. I know I'll be complaining about how cold it is and wishing it was summer as soon as Christmas is over, but for now I'm going to enjoy it :-)

Happy Monday, hope you have all had a great weekend. I am spending today planning the next days and weeks with my gorgeous new planner from Career Girl Daily! As well as plenty of space for my plans, it's also got a meals plan, shopping list, exercise plan etc. Definitely a must-have for anyone loving cute notebooks and diaries.

I am so happy with my Cult Gaia bag that it deserves another post. It was the perfect holiday accessory the other week, and does so much to an outfit. And for the first time, getting sand in my handbag at the beach wasn't a problem!

After a quick browse on Pinterest for some inspiration, I've also started pairing it with a silk scarf, a great way to give any bag a little makeover.
