I don´t understand why people hate Valentines day. But I can understand why they hate the pressure of gifts and spending money. Personally I love Valentines day, everything has it´s own day these days - even the toothbrush - so why hate the day for spreading love? I loved it when I was single and I love it when I am in a relationship. We luckily do not have the pressure of gifts but of course I love getting a card and flowers - I am a girl after all! I am lucky that my boyfriend surprises me with flowers now and then during the whole year so why not make one of those days Valentines day? As for gifts we usually giving each other adventures that we can experience together instead of material stuff. Not only for valentines day, but any occasion like birthdays and christmas. Other than the flowers there is no romance in this house today. I´m sitting on the sofa alone after the pole class as Martin took an extra shift at work. Well, thats a lie.. I am giving the dog love all the time even if he isn´t alway too keen!
I loved the class today btw. Seems everyone else it out to dinner or something cause I got a pole for my self for the whole 70 minutes today! Absolutely loved it - kind of died a little after! Not used to dance the entire class as we usually are 16 people on 8 poles and have to share. Anyway, I hope everyone has given some love today from a boyfriend, colleague, friend or family member. The smallest compliment can make somebody´s day! And if you hate Valentines day and mean that we need to remember to spread love the whole year round: tomorrow is your start! You now have 364 days to make the world a more lovable place till next Valentines day ;)
