Diary questions 3:
I know you've been dying to know more about the author. So I’m here to tell you one or two things about her. Jojo Moyes was born on August 4, 1969, in London where she also grew up. Her real name is actually Pauline Sara-Jo Moyes and she is the only child of James C. Moyes and Elizabeth J. McKee. For the time being she lives at a farm in Essex with her husband and their three children.
Before she became a committed novelist in 2002, she had various careers; for instance, she had a job as a minicab controller and as a brochure writer for Club 18-30. While studding at Royal Holloway, University of London, she worked for the Egham and Staines News.
Since 2002, when her first book Sheltering Rain was released, she has written eleven novels. Last year one of her best selling novels, Me Before You, became a movie sensation all over the world. Her audience age is between 15 and 30, I guess. But I do not doubt that older women and men like to read her books too; they are rather good.
