So this is the last week before we're going back home to Sweden and to be honest, I don't know how I should feel because Córdoba have kind of become my new home.

I got along with my colleagues very well and all of them are very nice. But the director of the hotel who also works at the reception doesn't let me do anything, so I'm just sitting there doing nothing all day. While the other receptionists really wants me to learn new stuff so I'm busy all day.

During Thursday we got to visit the Alcázar with the Polish group. We had two people from the office from our house with us but they kind of forgot about us, since they disappeared with the Polish people...
But otherwise, we enjoyed the place and all of us took some pretty pictures!

Hello,

So it's been a week already and I had some really great experience here at my workplace, especially today.
Today, I've got to meet a very nice Korean couple! I work at the reception so they walked passed me and asked if it was okay for them to put their luggages at the front desk while they're were going to grab some breakfast. I said of course and the couple started to speak Korean while heading towards the hotel's restaurant.
Later on when I was in the restaurant to drink some coffee, when I was done, I asked them "마시써요?" which means "is it delicious?" The woman just widened her eyes in surprise while the guy answered "네/yes!" in impulse and realized later that he was in Spain and someone just spoke Korean to him! 😂
I was a little bit disappointed that they were going to checkout today 😭 But at least I've got to talk to them again when I helped them with the luggages to the entrance and waited for their taxi with them.

PS. I forgot to post some pictures of my workplace, so here you go!

So this is our third day here in Córdoba and our first day as an intern. Before we started work, we got time the day before to explore a little bit in the neighborhood, which was very refreshing and nice.
Back to the topic: First day as an intern here, well the staff there was very nice and generous, and I got the funniest guy as my mentor!
I didn't do much today since there wasn't many people checking in or out, so he showed me how the booking system worked.
I've got the most relaxing schedule too, from 08:00 to 14:00! 😁

So this blog is dedicated to the time I'm going to spend in Spain. I think it's going to be like a diary kind of looking blog, since it's been a while I blogged and I'm going to blog daily.
It's the first time I'm going to work at a hotel and first time I'm working overseas, but it's going to be an experience to remember for life.
I've visited many countries in my life, but Spain is not one of them. I like to try new things in life so it's probably why I just choose to do my internship in Spain.

Beside that I'm going to learn a lot at my future workplace, I hope that I can experience the Spanish culture and learn from it too!
