We're in our last year of High School and as most of you know, it can be a bit stressful. We're planning to move to the states in less than a year, and the pressure is building up... So, sometimes it's nice to take a day off and relax with your bestfriend. All we've done today is bake and skype with Maya's American mom about preparations we need for the move. We even skyped her wearing our chocolate face masks!

How was your weekend?

Are you ready for the most amazing brownies? We don't think you are! We tried out this new recipe we found, but doubled the amount of chocolate - and it's the best decision we've ever made!

Here's what you're gonna need:

2 Eggs
170g Butter
3dl Sugar
1.8dl Flour
2tp Vanilla extract
0.6dl Cocoa powder
200g Dark chocolate
200g Milk chocolate
1tp Salt

1. Preheat the oven to about 180 degrees celcius
2. Melt the butter and combine it with the sugar and the vanilla extract
3. Add the eggs (the butter shouldn't be too hot when you do this step), mix until you get a fluffy consistency
4. Chop up and melt half the amount of the dark & the milk chocolate and stir it into the mixture
5. Sift the dry ingredients and fold it into the mixture
6. Add the remaining chocolate (chopped into chunks) and stir
7. Put in the oven for about 20-25 minutes
8. Let it cool, it's going to seem a little runny in the middle - but that's what you want!

Serve!

Halloween is a big tradition in the states and the UK, but unfortunately not here in Sweden. Despite this; it happens to be one of our favorite times of the year! We do have some sort of celebration here and Liseberg always pulls through. Every year they turn the entire theme park into a horror fantatic's wet dream. This year we were lucky enough to preview the park before it opened, and we've been waiting to share it with you!

We just made the BEST(!!!) chocolate chip cookies we've ever tasted in our entire lives. If you have the time to bake today, you should try them out. They're delicious. Trust us!

Here's what you need:
225g Butter
Nutella
200g Brown sugar
135g White sugar
2 eggs
1tsp Vanilla
360g Flour
2tsp Cornstarch (Maizena in Europe)
2tsp Baking powder
1stp Salt
100g Chocolate (We used dark chocolate)
Sea salt for sprinkling

Preheat the oven to about 190 degrees Celsius
1. Put baking sheet on a tray, and place circa 10 tablespoons of Nutella spaced out. Put them in the freezer and allow them to harden completely
2. Melt butter in a pot, and let it cool
3. In a bowl, mix the butter and the sugars so that it's well combined and then add one egg at a time
4. In another bowl mix all the dry ingredients
5. Slowly combine the wet and the dry ingredients and add chocolate (finely chopped)
6. Place finished dough in the fridge, and let it sit for about 15-20min
7. Divide dough into small piles on a baking sheet with space between them, and place the frozen Nutella in the middle of each piece of dough
8. Place the tray of cookies in the middle of the oven for about 12-13min
9. Sprinkle with sea salt immediately after removing them from the oven

PRO TIP: Enjoy with a tall glass of cold milk :-)
