English Version Today I want to show you my favorite foundation. My favorite foundation is relatively new but I'm really just so surprised, I just love how it suits my skin! My favorite foundation is Mac's PRO Longwear Waterproof foundation and in this blogpost I will tell you why I love it so much. I have in the recent years tried a lot of different foundations and it is not until right now I feel like I have found the perfect one for me and my skintype. I have to tell you, if you are looking for a new foundation it is always good to read some reviews about different foundations, but you still have to think about what skintype you have yourself, because it is very different from person to person what foundation works best for one another. Mac's PRO Longwear Waterproof foundation has a full coverage, actually it is the one out of all Mac's foundations which covers the most. I really like that it has such a high coverage because my skin has a tendency to become red which often shines through my foundation and with this foundation it doesn't. Even though the foundation has a high coverage, it still looks "natual" if you apply and blend it correctly. If you have a very dry skin I wouldn't recommend this foundation because it easily show your dry spots on your skin. If you have a more oily skin you can use the foundation but I would set the foundation with a setting powder afterwards. If you have a combined skin type you can use this foundation as well unless you have spots on your face which are very dry. Last but not least a normal skin type can of course use this foundation as well. My own skin type is normal to combinated. This means that my skin type is very normal but I have a tendency to be a little oily in the t-zone and I rarely have periods where my skin is a little dry. AGAIN I wouldn't recommend this foundation if you have a dry skin type, but if not this foundation is perfect! I have my foundation in the color NC25. NC stands for Neautral cool which means that the foundation has a more cold undertone to it and therefore the undertone is more yellow. In Mac's foundations and concealers you can also choose the color NW which stands for Neutral warm. This has of course a more warm undertone and therefore the undertone is more red. I prefer to buy my foundations with a cold/yellow undertone because of the redness in my skin - the cold/yellow undertone helps to reduce that. By experience I would say that a lot of people with a more light skintone uses the cold/yellow undertones and people with a darker skintone uses foundations with more warmth/redness in the undertone. Of course there are no rules - this is again very personal from person to person. The PRO Longwear Waterproof foundation has a thicker texture compared to other foundations, it is more creamy than liquidy. To blend the foundation I use my fingers. A beautyblender doesn't work that well because of the thickness of the foundation but the fingers have the warmth and they are therefore good to blend the product evenly into the skin. The foundation has a satin finish on the skin which means that the foundation is not completely matte but completely shiny/dewy either. It is a mix between the two finishes. Lastly I want to talk about whether it lives up to the expectations on being waterproof and longwearing. and YES it does! Now, I was so unlucky that had to ride my bike home from work in the pouring rain 2-3 times last week, but guess what?! My foundation was still on point when I got home. One of the days I actually went clubbing with my makeup on that I applied in the morning and when I went home the foundation was still pretty and even and it had been out in the rain as well. So if you are looking for a foundation which is longwearing, waterproof, has a high coverage and look beautiful on the skin ect. ect. I will recommend this foundation, it is so good and so beautiful on the skin! (-: If you don't have a Mac store/counter near you, you can buy the foundation right HERE.
English Version Today I want to show you my butterglosses from Nyx. Glosses really aren't the things I own the most of, because I always fall in love with lipsticks but these butterglosses from Nyx I have fallen in love with. I think why I love these glosses is because they are not totally sticky, some lipglosses feel like resin on the lips! The buttergloss feels creamy and soft on the lips it's not sticky and it is longwearing (my own opinion). The thing I also love about them is the extremely good colorpigmentation! Normally I love putting lipstick on my lips at first and then gloss on top, but with these butterglosses you can just skip the lipstick and use the gloss alone because of the good colorpigmentation.
- BLG07 Tiramisu (The first color from the left) - is a "basic" nude and a musthave in you collection.
- BLG04 Merengue - Is what I think you would call a babypink, pastel or barbie'ish color.
- BLG20 Red Velvet - A tone deeper than the classic red color.
- BLG22 Devil's Food Cake - A dark color, close to looking af bit like the color of red wine.
Now it's time for a new blogpost, finally! Today I want to show you the newest products I bought from the brand Origins. I bought some amazing products, a scrub for the face and a body wash, which again are amazing! Lets start. Modern Friction Is a scrub for the face which exfoliates and smoothens out the skin. The small pieces in the scrub is grain of rice, their function is to scrub of the dead cells on the surface of the skin. The scrub reduces an uneven skintone, dry spots and damages in the skin. In the creme you'll find lemonoil and Aloe Vera. The lemonoil kickstart the process of getting a more glowy skin and Aloe Vera encapsulate the moisture while it's calming and comfortable for the skin. When I bought Modern Friction, I actually just needed a new facescrub and chose to try one out from Origins, just because I wanted to ty some more of their products. Overall I didn't have any expectations for the product, besides it had to scrub the skin. Honestly, it's the best facescrub I have ever tried! My skin is so smooth and even after I used it, I'm so overwhelmed! It is definitely a product I would buy again. Calm To Your Senses Is a body wash with lavender and vanilla. Lavender and vanilla is both two of the most calming aromas, which now is together in this amazing body wash! As Origins describes on their webpage, lavender reminds us memories about our home, family, friends and loved ones. Vanilia warmth and is calming. The body wash is a little expensive in occasion to others more normally body washes, but it smells so good, like the rest of the Origins products does and then Origins is also well-known for the natural ingrediens in their products, which is a plus! So if your are looking for a more exclusive and delicious body wash, this could be the one.
