THW eureka tower is the highest building in Melbourne and the second highest of Australia... the gold top with the red stipe was build in memorial of the gold rush and all the bloody history...
from up there we had a magnificent view over the city and a great sunset 😍
and at our last night we finally found a bar with a proper aperol spritz :)

At the main shopping street in Melbourne the street artist are really great, because they need to perform at an audition before they can play there..

state Victoria libary.. the main reading room looks like a movie.. and the exhibition on the 4. and 5. floor is nice to walk around..

Queen Victoria market especially at night is just one big crowd... so much people but also sooo much food.. and we tried a lot 😁 after that night we had a sugar flash, especially from the fresh sugar cane juice!!

The concert hall in the town hall was huge and really cool because of the old style of the balconies.. and the organ was really impressive!!

St. Paul's cathedral directly at founders square war one of the most beautiful churches in Australia.. really great architecture and the point that this big cathedral is in the heart of the city is even cooler...

flinders station, the bussiest place I have seen in a long while, or ever!!
Vienna therapy.. win a trip to Vienna.. I could come home for a week 😂😂 funny function to promote the young art of Vienna!

the Royal Exhibition Center in Carlton Garden, build 1880 for the international exhibition. It was a ice thing for the melburians to host the international exhibition as such a young city!
Now the halls are empty most of the time, only used for big functions as well as the exams of the university's.

St. Patrick's Cathedral.. really nice Windows at the back and the big window in the front was just amazing..

We went for a little wonder around the shops.. t2 - shop with 100 of different teas, crazy sock store, really common here to where them with suits 😂, real german Gewürtshaus :) and the hometown tea room, famous for the huge mirror on the wall.. but the line was just too long..

Our free walking tour took as all around the city.. great achitecture, old churches, big gold rush buildings and in between, little lanes, fancy bars and cafes and great street art..

queen Victoria building, in former times a hospital, now a house from women for women...

that's melboune central station, we thought it's just a shopping centre.. the William tower in the middle is topped with a glass cone.. looks really cool.. and the clock opens out and plays musik every full hour..

the state libary of Victoria.. nice from the outside.. wait till you see it from inside.. ;)

Parlament of Melbourne.. more later..

the bock akade.. nice little shopping centre with great old architecture..

the street art of Melbourne is just great!!
the bar section 8 was build out of shipping conainers for a pop up bar just for the summer, in 2006.. it runs just to good to shut it down :)

federation square and flinders station.. old and new next to each other everywhere in Melbourne..

Art centre Melbourne.. the architect wanted to make sure that everyone know where the art centre is, so he put a huge mental spire on top.. it should look like the tutu of a dancing ballerina..

Melbourne's skyline 😍😍
