in the morning we went to the tailor.. pick a cotton, find a picture on google and they take your measurement and sew whatever you want :)

lunch in the small Warung Ku, for 1.50 AUD you get a delicious meal :)
afternoon tea we had at the hotel, fried banana, my favourite :)

afternoon chill at the pool and for the sunset we went down to the beach 🌴🌅

on our way we stoped at a little temple on the roadside..

at the monkey forest we saw a lot of funny things.. monkeys stealing bananas and going crazy with people who don't want to give the bananas to them 😂 🍌 🐵
they jump on peoples head and want to steal things.. but because they ever so much bananas there they are not looking for other stuff, sunnies and hats are pretty save here..

the actual temple is here just a nice add, the main attraction are the funny monkeys :)

the forest we walked though was just amazing.. but you always needed to be aware of a monkey jumping on you.. was scared quite a few times 🙈😂

Sunday morning we got up at 5 to do a morning walk along and in the river :D to the rice fields.. Gloria wanted to help harvesting the rice, but he wasn't allowed to..

back in the village the guys brought us their pets.. snakes in all sizes 🙈🐍

now it's time to cook, they learned us how to cook a real nasi goreng.. when I'm home I will cook a big pot for you guys 😂
Gloria, Stefan and I won the competition for the best nasi goreng! yeah!

and the kids liked it too 😊

the guys sowed me how to cut the coconut and I was allowed to kill my own one.. so much great things I would have never done without flo's Uni project.. so thankful!!

with the scooter out of Yogya and of to a deal village near the city.. the local students of Flo's Uni organized a cultural exchange weekend in the smsl Indonesian village.

the head of the village welcomed us in his house and served some indonesian sweet specials :)

at the school we played with the kids and learned some englisch basic words, like fruit and veggies.. the kids where really active and cute, some really good in English!

out to the people.. we played some games a.d volleyball with the locals and the kids had so much fun it was crazy 😂

at night we watched the local ballet sowing the traditional dance.. the girls were dancing for more than 15 minutes and we where invited to dance with them afterwords.. nice thing to create a bond :)

afterwords the older people played a Gamelan piece for us and learned us how to play :) we sounded a bit of but still good for the first time :)
