-Restaurant: Cluny

-Cuisine: French

-Location: 35 Tank House Lane, Toronto, ON M5A 3C4

-Experience:

Honestly, the brunch at Cluny was quite disappointing. The savory dish tasted like no difference and the sweet dish was not restaurant quality. The presentation was not attractive either.

1. Salt Cod Benedict: kale was so overcooked that it looked like leftover from last night. I could taste nothing but salt in the cod cake. Poached eggs were fine.

2. Hot Smoked Trout Rillette: I was expecting the baguette to be crispy and crunchy, but actually it was tough and a bit chewy. The seasoning of smoked trout rillette is uneven. All I tasted was salt, not the fish.

3. Baked Vanilla & Chocolate French Toast: The french toast was too soft and fluffy that it almost tasted like a sponge macerated in syrup which was not needed because it was already so sweet.
