Monday June 6, me and my host parents went to downtown Detroit! I wanted to go there to see the downtown area, and see the street my favorite artist Eminem grew up on.

We spent the whole day downtown, but for the most part in the nice area! We explored the city, and I learned a lot of history and experienced a lot of stuff! In the afternoon we went to go see Eminem's childhood street, which is not a place you wanna live in. It was really poor, and sad, but something everyone should experience!

Eminem's old house was not there anymore, they took it down for some reason. On the pictures you can at least see how it looked like around. Where he had his house it's just an empty spot. It looks haunted everywhere, and old houses is just standing all empty.

My first graduation in the U.S. I had a good day experiencing it! It was really interesting, cool, and fun! Now I have less than two weeks left, which is mixed feelings for sure. But I just have to live and take care of every day that I have left. Hopefully I will be back sooner than expected! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Today we had a nice relaxing day at home, which was something we all needed after a busy week. The weather was nice the whole day, and we ended the day by sitting around the bonfire making hot dogs ๐Ÿ˜‹๐ŸŒญ

I also talked to my family over FaceTime, and our dog Charlie ๐Ÿ˜Š He was recognizing my voice โ˜บ๏ธ

April 24 we went up to Canada for a "mini trip", to go see the Niagara Falls. I took Clara with me, she's another exchange student, but from Denmark. The drive was about 7 hours long, and we stayed in a hotel near the falls. We walked around so that we could see the falls from different places, and we also saw it during the night. It was a beautiful experience, and I'm happy I got to experience such a thing! ๐Ÿ˜Š We went back home to Michigan April 26.

I also got the "Student of the month" award, and it was in physical science. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŽŠ

There is also some pictures of me and my soccer team.

Peace out! ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿป

The last couple days I have been in school, and I started with my soccer. Our first game we won, 5-1 and the last game, the day after we lost.

I had a sleepover with my friend Annika, and the weekend before my host moms grandchild was here.

Next weekend I will be going to the Niagara Falls, I'm so excited! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Universal Studios ๐ŸŽฌ๐Ÿ“ฝ๐ŸŽฅ

We went to The Universal Studios and was there the whole day. It was amazing there, and I saw some really cool stuff! We went on roller coasters and also roller coasters that had different 3D displays so that it felt like you were in the movie, with the characters!

Cocoa Beach ๐ŸŒดโ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ’ฆ

Yesterday we were at the Cocoa Beach, and the weather was about 78 F, with barely no wind at all, but then after about 3 hours the wind started to come and it got as high as 21 mph... So we went to the mall instead and did some shopping, which was fun too tho ๐Ÿ˜„ After that we went back to the beach, bc it was a satellite that was going to get fired off up to space by 6:35 pm, so we wanted to stay there until that, and that was another cool experience to see ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

This week went by fast and we have two days left in the house! It feels sad to leave this awesome life here, but I have school that's waiting for me back home in Gladwin. Tomorrow, me and Diana will go and try to find a prom dress, hopefully I'll find one!

Soon in about two weeks my soccer starts too, so I have something new to look forward to! I'm so excited! โšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Š

Peace! โœŒ๐Ÿผ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿผ

Today we've been to a cave, that was called "The Mammoth Cave". It was cool to experience.

Then the rest of the time we have been in the car. We traveled about eight hours today, and tomorrow we have five hours left until we arrive to the house.

We are taking a break at a motel for the night again, so we don't need to push it so hard with the driving.

Here's some pictures too, it's from the cave and from the road trip! ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Peace out! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Hey!!

These last three weeks I have been busy with new adventures. I've been to two different black light dances two Saturday's in a row, and I had so much fun, with friends and a lot of dancing.

I went to a Michigan State University (MSU) Basketball game with my host parents and my friend Kurtis! It was a blast and we had a great night! ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ€โฃ

Yesterday I went to a State wrestling meet to cheer for my host moms grandchild, Spencer. They're from Saint Johns, and they took second place! ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ…๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

I also made some Swedish meatballs, and my host parents loved it! They were delicious they said ๐Ÿ˜

Right now I'm sitting in the car on the way down to warmer temperatures, ๐Ÿ›ฃ๐Ÿ—บ๐Ÿš— we're going to Florida!!๐ŸŒด๐ŸŒด Me, my host parents and my host moms grandchild Josie, (who is one year older than me). We're going to live in a house with a swimming pool that has heated water in it. Also my host dad's sister will be there with her family in the same house. Josie and I each get two rooms for ourselves with our own bathrooms, and a queen size bed!!! That's pretty awesome if you ask me ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿป

I just looked at the temperature in Florida and its 66 F and 19 C, so it's like in the summer! ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐ŸŒด๐Ÿ‘™โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ’ž

Hey!
The last couple days have been filled with wrestling, school homework and sickness. I started my new semester with new classes, even if I have more homework, I enjoy my classes more than the last semester. ๐Ÿ“–โœ๏ธ

One day when we didn't have school, outside on our pond we had Amish people that were working to take ice blocks. They used a big saw, and it took them two whole days. They use the ice to store food in an ice house during the whole year, instead of a fridge. Because their religion is old fashioned. โ›๐Ÿ•ณโ„๏ธ

Wrestling is going well. But I was taking antibiotics for my sty, which turned out to give me an allergic reaction. So now I'm on a medicine that takes out the medicine that caused my reaction. So hopefully it's not getting worse, and it's already making progress.. I can't be on the mats for a week, but the wrestling season is almost over.

Today I went to the eye doctor in Clare to see what we could do with my sty, and I got a lotion to put on it for three weeks, (thank God that I didn't need to cut it off!)

After the visit, me and my host mom (Diana) went to a popular cafe that is known worldwide after the name "Cops and donuts". ๐Ÿฉ๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿฉ In this cafรฉ, you can buy different kinds of donuts and pies, and sandwiches. It was an idea made from a group of cops many years ago, they were called after "cops and donuts" from the people, because they were always eating it, so they opened a shop when they got retired, that makes homemade donuts, pies and sandwiches.

It was delicious! ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿฉ๐Ÿ’—

(In the pictures below you can see), 1. Amish people on our pond. 2. Me.... 3. An amazing sandwich from cops and donuts. 4. Bacon donuts!! So weirdโ‰๏ธ 5. Outside cops and donuts..๐Ÿ’“๐Ÿฉ๐Ÿฉ๐Ÿฉ๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿฝ
