I have already been here in Utrecht for a week. Time flies when you're having fun. Yesterday we had a party in our school with food and drinks. After that we went out to several bars and I had so much fun and met a lot of new nice people. Today it is raining but I will jump on my bike in an hour or so to meet up a friend in the city. Tomorrow is Sunday and I was thinking of going exploring the city some more. Here are some pictures from last night.
So where to begin.. My first day in school was on Monday. We had a short introduction and after that all the classes started. I have lot of fun courses (10 courses during 11 weeks..!!) so it is a lot but I am really excited, the teachers are great and the courses are interesting. I am aslo excited about studying really hard for the next few months.
On Monday evening we went to a nice place and had a couple of drinks with the other exchange students and our buddies. I had a lot of fun.
On Tuesday (yesterday) I had school from 9-18 and after that we mad dinner at a friends place. That was also a lot of fun.
Today we are having dinner at one of the buddies places with the other students.
SO in conclusion a lot of school, new people, new friends, new systems and a lot of fun to do. I love Utrecht in general and biking around is easy and fun. What else... Well I am getting used to the systems here and the culture chock is not as big as the first days here:) I have met a lot of nice people and everybody is really nice!
(I need to take more pictures so I can show you guys)
Now I have to finnish my my 2€ smoothie and go to class. Bye!
Hey,I was sitting in the living room in my current home here in Holland and tried to figure out different things that I usually do not do in my everyday life. One of them was writing a blog. I also thought it would be nice to share my experiences and life here during the spring, here in Utrecht (for those of you that does not know it, I am here on exchange until May 2016).
I arrived to Utrecht on Friday 1.1. in the evening, after only a few hours of sleep (happy new year btw). I spend my first day here grocery shopping, packing up my things and in the afternoon I went exploring the neighbourhood. Today I went to the town and tried to explore the city and ate the best salad I've had in a very long time (new favourite place btw)
Tomorrow is my first day of school (wish me luck) and I am very excited. Hoping to meet a lot of new people and getting started with the courses.
