New week, new challenges! Today is the day when Nouw's 30 Day Challenge begins and, yes, I have accepted the challenge, which means that there's going to be a new post published here every single day for the next 30 days. Since I post almost every day anyways, the biggest challenge is not getting the posts out on time or coming up with enough ideas, but my biggest challenge is getting organized with my posts. I have so many ideas and half written posts in my archives, just waiting to see the day light, but for some reason the fashion posts are the ones getting published the most. It's obviously fine that most of the posts are fashion related, this is a fashion blog after all, but I really want to include other content here also. You know, just to mix it up a little and to keep things interesting!

So my plan is to be more organized with my content and to create different types of posts, during these 30 days and hopefully after that I've gotten used to it and will continue. I'm taking this challenge as a kick in the butt to finally start creating content that I've been longing to create! I'm super excited about this and I hope you are too! And if you have any ideas or suggestions, I'm all ears!

Good morning guys! I'm having my first free day since I moved into the new apartment, so I've spent the morning just smiling while sipping too many cups of coffee in my PJ's. I woke up early, just to be sure that I wouldn't sleep through out the day, which would've probably happened if I hadn't set the alarm for this morning, that's how crazy hectic my days have been lately. I'm so glad that I've got most of the things in their places already, and it's already starting to feel like home, for real. There are some bits missing here and there, but I think the place looks pretty cute after just one week!

Now I thought I'd take myself out for a power walk by the beach and then go and buy some fresh croissants for breakfast, there's a really nice bakery just across the square, I can almost smell the croissants from here.. Later I'm having some roommate candidates coming to see the place, let's see if I'll find someone nice to share the place with! I was already so excited about getting to share the apartment with a friend's friend who was supposed to move here from Finland, but she isn't coming to Barcelona after all, so now I'm officially on search for a roommate. Please keep your fingers and toes crossed for me!

If you are wondering why the pictures are smaller than usually, let me know if you come up with an answer because I have no freaking clue! I haven't changed any settings and the pictures have been taken with the same camera that so many of my pictures, so I don't know where the problem lays exactly.. I'm so bad what it comes to technology, but this year I'm at least trying to start using the camera better. Yep, one of my new year's resolutions right there!

What it comes to the outfit, it's pretty basic, as usual! I know I said that I didn't find or want anything from the sales this winter, but a pair of slingbacks has been on my wishlist (have one on my phone, I can prove this mom) every since this fall, but it didn't make sense to me to buy them when the air was just getting colder. Well, I found them on half price from Zara so I just couldn't resist. One more item to cross off from my wishlist for the spring! I can also finally, finally, cross off mom jeans from there, because I found a pair one that same trip to Zara (I was there just to glance before going to the grocery store..). I think they cost me like 15 euros, which is a bargain. It's actually the first pair of jeans that I've bough from Zara, they just never have seemed to fit my body right! Thanks to wide hips and slim waist, that's a pretty usual problem.. These are a bit too loose from the waist, but I'm planning on getting them tailored, so that'll solve the problem!

The basic black blouse is such a good basic to have, I think we can all agree on that? The pompom earrings are my favorites at the moment and I'm on the hunt for white ones too, so if you have any suggestions, please let me know! I love every single bag that I own but I usually wear one or two until I get bored with them and then let them dust for a while. I hadn't really used this Michael Kors bag since I bought the black suede one from Mango, but this week I fell in love with it again. I just think the model is so cute and timeless, plus I really like the leather. The only thing that I don't really like is the brand that I unfortunately feel so over used. But I'm glad that I didn't leave the bag in the store only because of it's brand, because otherwise I find it pretty perfect. It fits all of my essentials, including my camera and three lipsticks that I always carry with me.

What are your Saturday's plans? Up to anything fun? I'll be working for the whole afternoon from home, but later I have a friend coming over to catch up and have some wine. Can't wait! But first: power walk, croissants, roommate visits and WORK. Have a super fun day guys! Hugs from Barcelona!

Lately I've been so obsessed with the baker boy cap that I finally bought when I was visiting Finland, that I had almost totally forgotten about the berets. Some may find this a relief since most of my outfits have included one every since October, haha. This morning I didn't feel like putting on my baker boy cap and I reached out for this grey beret, remembering in the meanwhile that I had these outfit pictures unpublished. They are also the last ones from my collaboration with San & Cler! I linked some similar objects that I found on sale down with the outfit details!

I got to say that I love the sunlight in these pictures, Jenni is really talented and it's always super fun to work with her. Oh, and it seems that there are so many nice shooting locations in my new neighborhood, which is great. There weren't too many in up town where I was living the past seven months because the neighborhood was mainly just big streets and buildings. In Barceloneta we have cute little streets, parks, squares, a beach boulevard and of course, the sea. Can't wait to get Bumbi here by the way, she will just love living by the sea! If anyone is flying from Finland to Barcelona anytime soon, let me know and I'll add Bumbi into your luggage, hehe.. Well, she'll get here in the end of March the latest, because that's when my mom comes to visit!

We got every single furniture built together yesterday, and I was finally able to put all of my clothes in their places, place the lamps to create a softer lightning in the apartment and stuff like that, which all made me sooo happy! Well, actually my job was just to keep company and handle a screw or two when needed.. It was apparently faster for him to do everything himself than to have me helping, can you believe it?! Today I'm waiting for some repair guys to come and fix a giant whole from the ceiling, so I'll be home the whole afternoon working on a few projects on my laptop, which is great, because this week I've been mainly focusing on the new apartment instead of the blog and other work. Luckily I have the weekend off so that I'll time to concentrate. I haven't found my "blogging spot" from the new home yet, which is a must before being able to get anything really done, so that's the first thing on my agenda.

The past week has been literally like from a comedy show, so many unfortunate things have happened that I've been trying to figure out if I should cry or laugh. I admit that I have shed a few tears but mostly I've been able to laugh about everything, at least afterwards. Luckily there are some really nice and fun things going on also, so I'm trying to concentrate on focusing my thoughts on them, and stressing only the amount that's needed to get the things that need solving figured out.. My best friend asked me yesterday when is this bad luck of mine going to stop, and gosh, I wish I knew, hahah. You could make a comedy show from my life, hahah..

Everything's going to be just fine, I try to tell myself. 2018 is going to be my year, don't you remember?! If I count my blessings from this week, the list would look like this: finally getting to buy the stuff I've wanted so long for my home, living in the new home, spending time with my favorite person, getting a few nice collaboration requests, finding a new friend, planning stuff for my new part-time job, sleeping well, eating candy that I bought from Ikea and receiving photos of my Bumbi, of course. Sometimes it's good to really put down all the good things, I think it's almost mandatory during times like these.

Today I have a lunch with a friend on my agenda, as well as a Skype meeting in the afternoon and later I'm getting some help to build the new furniture that I have waiting in their boxes. My days have been so busy since the beginning of the year and I have a feeling that they are about the get even more busier, but that's when I feel like my most productive self. And all the productivity can be seenn in my photo archives, because it has created me a luxury kind of problem: way too many pictures waiting to be edited and published. Usually the problem is not having enough pictures, hahah.. Well, the 30 day blog challenge is starting next Monday, so at least I have some material in storage for that. How many of you are going to do the challenge? I'm super excited, can't wait to have a proper reason to get more organized with the content!

While I was going through my archives I noticed these super colorful pictures that we shot last June already, but for some reason they never got published. I did a collaboration with two amazingly talented girls, a photographer called Mireia Sadurní and a designer called Alena Vedere. It was the first shooting that I ever did to anyone other than me and I remember feeling so awkward in front of the camera and not knowing exactly what to do. Nowadays it doesn't matter so much anymore who's behind the camera, but if it's a total stranger I always feel a bit weird. That didn't happen yesterday though, when I got together with @madeleinemartinsson, a Swedish photographer and blogger who also happens to be almost my neighbor! We had so much fun, and all though our styles are totally different what it comes to fashion, we soon noticed that we had so much to talk about, and I don't think there was even a 5 second of silence during those three hours that we spent together, having coffee and shooting some outfit pictures for each other! Oh, and I was so pleased to be able to speak English with someone, since I'm afraid that my English is slowly changing into a weird Spanglish with a slight Finnish accent, hahah..
