Szia! So we are down to less then 6 months away until I leave for Hungary! I made this page so that everyone can keep up with my adventures before and after I leave -If you guys really feel like reading it...- but also mostly for me to be able to reminisce on my travels years later. Rotary Youth Exchange is such a wonderful opportunity. It is definitely a life changing experience and I encourage everyone to try it. The people you meet and the things and places you see are out of this world. It's crazy. We've had a couple of fundraisers so far which have brought in a lot of money to put towards my trip. That has helped me to be able to bond with my fellow out bounds in my district and to get to know them more. The friends I have made so far with this program are absolutely amazing. I've meet people from all over the world that now attend my school. Such people from places like Sweden, South Korea, Brazil and so much more. It's sad that soon they will all go home and who knows if I'll ever see them again.. Besides that, I'm currently learning Hungarian which has so far been going well. I've been told by a few people that I will get harder.. Which is understandable. I've been using Pimsleur CDs and taking notes from a Hungarian phrasebook that seems to have everything I could ever need, in it. I've pinned some language learning ideas on Pinterest that I may use later. I've also found some websites and such that can help me later as well. So I think I'll be ok for now. I know all this hard work will pay off in the end. I can't wait to see all my fellow out bounds from all over Florida again in June at out last orientation! The first orientation was really fun so I can't wait to see what the next one brings!! So that's an update for now. I'll try to write more soon. Viszontlátásra for now! (That means goodbye 😁)
