I've never been a big fan of Kesha's music, but f*ck this song is catchy and quite addicting.
A week or two ago, Imagine Dragons released their new album 'Evolve'! Which might be the new album I'm obsessed with. I've always loved their music since the day they released their debut album 'Night vision'.
I have to say that Evolve is probably my favourite album so far. By the previous albums I've always felt that the singles have been the "better" songs on their albums, but this time I have to say it's the opposite! I'm completely in love with the other tracks, you'll find three of my favourites down below.
I don't know what made me fall in love with this album, I guess it's more my type of music in an Imagine Dragons way? Sounds stupid, but I like the variety of the different sounds of the tracks, as well as I find the lyrics incredible (as they usually are). I cross my fingers and hope they will have an European tour soon! I've seen them once before and when I say it's one of my top three concerts I've ever been to, I really mean it!
As always I highly recommend the album I've written about, if you, some how, haven't listen through the album already.
Two years after the release of Badlands, Halsey finally dropped her second album 'Hopeless Fountain Kingdom'! She's been teasing back and forward for the past two months by releasing a few songs as singles. When Halsey released the first single, Now Or Never, I was slightly disappointed by the sound. I don't know why but I didn't like the song at all. I tried to listen to it a few times and didn't want to think one of my favourite artists could've made a song, or possibly made an album, which I wouldn't like.
But that wasn't the case. Halsey has released two singles after Now Or Never that I've found catchy, but when she dropped the album last Friday I haven't manage to switch to another album on Spotify.
Hopeless Fountain Kingdom has a whole other tune to it than Badlands, which I guess is why I was sceptical to Halsey's new music. The biggest difference between the two albums are that 'Badlands' have a darker and mystical tune going through most of the songs on the album, while 'Hopeless Fountain Kingdom' has a lighter tone and tells the listener a story through every single song. The fact that Halsey managed to create an album with a storyline through the album with every song is incredible and this is where I find myself enchanted to the new tune.
As always, here's my top three songs of Hopeless Fountain Kingdom:
I'm not a person who "typically" would like this type of music, but somehow The Chainsmokers has manage to sneak into my heart and make me fall in love with their new album Memories.. do not open!
The Chainsmokers is an American DJ-duo consisting of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall. They had their breakthrough in 2014 when they released their song #selfie which was in the top 20 in several countries around the world, and since then they have only grown and collaberated with both big and smaller artists.
When I first came across and began to develop an interest in the DJ-duo was when they released 'Closer' that featured Halsey, one of my celebrity crushes. Since Closer's release my interest for The Chainsmokers has only grown and now we're here, where I have an obsession with their album.
Here's my favourite songs from the album:
One of the best feelings ever must be when your favourite band finally release a new album after being quiet for a few years. Which in my case happened last Friday when Mallory Knox released Wired.
It's been a bit less than three years since Mallory Knox released their second album Asymmetry, which could possibly be my all-time favourite album. Although now when I've been listening to Wired non-stop the past three days it might have changed... I guess it was expected, I've been waiting for a new album for about one and a half year and now it's finally here!! Now it's time for me to cross my fingers and hope they'll play in Copenhagen later this year.
Down below you'll find my favourite songs of the album.
